Here's An Edit I Made A While Ago That I Didn't Post, I Didn't Put Much Effort Into It But Yet It Taught Me Things About Paint.NET So... Here Ya Go.
I tried to do this on paint.net
If I ever open the effects menu after opening a screenshot made with greenshot, paint.net crashes.
I don't know if it's a bug with Greenshot or Paint.net, or one of my plugins, (Is there a "safe mode" of PDN that launch without plugins?) but when I take a screenshot with greenshot and export it directly to PDN, opening the effects menu will freeze it.
If I choose in Greenshot to export to the clipboard then paste into Paint.net, I have no problem.
Is there anything I can do to check what is causing the problem?

Well, this is my first time using paint.net on a ref sheet. Here's Eric Talon, one of my OCs, using Neffertity's free base. Any advice on either the design or tips on how to use paint.net?
Installed paint.net 64x version which crashed my laptop.
I have downloaded paint.net 64x version after i installed it i must restart my laptop again, and Boom my deskop gone and im stuck in black screen with cursor and task manager,i tried all methods but explorer.exe don't work.
17 years on the market and we still don't have an easy way to separate the alpha channel in paint.net... why?
I make some game mods as a hobby, and as a result, I deal with game textures a fair bit. Every now and again I find that a texture map I need is stored in the alpha channel of another texture. After a fair bit of googling, I am amazed that we STILL do not have an easy way to separate the alpha channel of an image onto a separate texture, let alone the RGB channels.
Why? you'd think such a seemingly important feature would have been added ages ago. Still, are there any plugins that could do that?
Starting to draw, this is my first time drawing a furry and using paint.net. Thoughts?

Despite having tried alternatives (Pinta crashes too much, Krita works too weirdly and doesn´t have features I need), I need to get paint.net running somehow. I have tried wine, but it spits out this error. Anybody able to help?
