A list of puns related to "Orbicularis Oris"
Not sure is the two are related but I feel my smile looks weird, especially from a side view.
Is this a sign I'm mewing incorrectly?
The question above
At itβs most basic a kiss is the exchange of kinetic energy through the lip muscles (google lip muscles). That kinetic energy will dissipate on release but in the right circumstance, miraculously, it can generate electrical currents in the brain of anyone involved.
The kisser, the kissee, both, neither.
That electrical current will take a completely unique path in the brain, maybe a few familiar turns, but from that moment on that path will exist. In my case, or rather ours, that crooked alley between my synapses will define every message my brain sends to my nerves until those nerves go on permanent unpaid leave. Theyβll take that message and instruct all the systems responsible for this shambling form of mine on how to perform their most menial tasks.
Donβt you get it?
Once you kiss me Iβll breathe differently. Iβll walk differently, talk differently, sit at the bus stop differently.
But I wonβt list all of the renevations, Iβm sure finding out the awesome power your (lip muscles) have can be tough to take in. So absorb it, take your time. If a single moment can amberize in my mind then itβll be a handful of eternities before I need your answer.
I have trauma located there and I know it. How do I release it? I have to be covering myself with a medical mask because I dissociate and do stupid faces without being aware of it. How do I release this trauma/tic/numbness around my lip area?
This is the image of it:

Please help me! If anyone can solve my problem, I'll donate $5 to any charity of your choice.
#Proper lip seal.
Most of you aren't doing it right.
You likely know that you should engage the posterior third.
You likely know that the molars (back teeth) should be lightly together.
And you likely know that you should keep the lips together.
Yet, almost nobody knows how to achieve a proper lip seal.
Just closing your lips won't do it.
John Mew stresses the importance of correct lip posture.
#How to achieve a proper lip seal:
###1. The lips should be suctioned against the teeth.
Rather than being kept merely together.
Visualize in a way that the lips are moving your teeth deeper inward to the alveolar ridge (between 4 & 5).
This image shows how it should feel.
###2. To achieve this, create a suction hold with your tongue on your palette & light negative pressure.
Bring that negative pressure to your lips, so that they may be suctioned.
--OR--
With your mentalis muscle (in green). brig your lower lip up, outwards & finally down.
Afterwards, with your orbicularis oris muscle (in green) bring your upper lip down, outwards & finally up.
#3. There might be a slight visual change. Don't exaggerate it.
##Answering possible doubts.
>"Won't sucking your lips towards your teeth cause them to tip?"
With proper tongue posture & leap seal, the maxilla models to the tongue, not the lips.
If your lips are sloppy, your teeth with protrude outwards & you may develop an overbit

While Masseter muscles can be worked out by chewing, are there any exercises capable of working the Zygomaticus, and Orbicularis Oris muscles out?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
In Fallout 1 and New Vegas you can see the upper lips of some mutants being held open by straps in either a permanent overbite (FO1) or snarl (FNV). Exampes are Harry, the Lieutenant, Neil, Lily and every Nightkin or Mutant enemy in FNV.
What's up with that?
When we suck our cheeks and lips go inward. How this happens? I tired looking it up, but couldnβt find anything, all I found was buccinators and orbicularis oris muscles are involved and buccinator mechanism is involved in sucking, but couldnβt find anything related to how air moves to achieve suction and which muscles(buccinators, Orbicularis oris, tongue etc) contract to achieve this.
Could you explain how we achieve suction(mechanism) and which muscles help to achieve this?
And could you also recommend me a book regarding this? Iβm really interested in learning about this topic.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
Nothing, he was gladiator.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
