The second Patriot government was returned with a larger majority, and in Prime Minister Paine's thinking, a solid mandate to continue radical governance. The first two years of the term saw the complete emancipation of all slaves thanks to a bill submitted by Gouverneur Morris. However, many black slaves, with nowhere else to turn, continued working for their former owners as paid servants rather than slaves. Paine and the radicals in the party thought this was unacceptable, so Paine ordered the Treasurer John Hancock to begin a series of public works projects such as the building of new roads and canals in order to entice ex-slaves off the plantations. Hancock, suffering from ill health, delivered his final budget in 1791 that levied a new tax on all property owners of 2.5p as well as raising tariff rates on trade with all nations outside of Britain. Deputy PM Aaron Burr, subbing in for Hancock who was too ill to give speeches in the House of Commons (he retired shortly after the budget passed and died in 1793), defended the budget as a responsible way for the government to create new employment, not just for ex-slaves, but for the poor throughout the Dominion. Facing Burr was the Leader of the Opposition Hamilton, who charged that the government had behaved recklessly by first freeing slaves without a plan on what to do with them. A month ago I got a severe dropbug that corrupted and destroyed my older save.

Particularly pertaining with dropping cash cards. And today I got the exact same dropbug again as I dropped about 40 cards or so down on the ground (some were damaged some were not). Thankfully I had made a backup beforehand, thus only losing a day.

But just like last time. The entire map and world save got corrupted as I dropped the cards. The crash was so severe that it generated a single 500mb log file lol.

Also note that I'm using the Aftershock mod. I'm not sure if it matters.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
