I’ve just watched Dreamgirls for the first time and thought Eddie Murphy was great in it. I am aware of the reputation that Eddie was going to win the Oscar had Norbit not released and hurt his chances. Is this actually true? Was Eddie really the front runner and was taken out by his own movie or is this a talked up urban legend? Curious to know what the real story was.

I was watching norbit last night, hysterical movie. But what made me also laugh was the thought of Brian cracking up watching this movie, probably in his underwear and drinking Dr Pepper . Amazing

Can you please help me understand why we can't place orders on DLR.U.TO to the 3rd decimal while I see lot of transactions take place at these levels?

Eg: I wanted to sell at 10.075, the prevailing market rate, but limit price does not allow for 3rd decimal input on QuestTrade and Market orders never get executed to the 3rd decimal.

Norbit was an ordinary ugly orphan boy with nowhere to belong, until Rasputia came around. Sister of a notorious family that ran the entire town through threats and coercion, she took a liking to him and took him as her boyfriend, until they eventually got married. Unfortunately, over the years Norbit learned Rasputia is not as great as she appeared to be. She’s mean, crass, rude, and she’ll do whatever she wants, including cheating and treating Norbit like a piece of property. He spends the entire movie trying to find ways to avoid her and spend time with a girl who treats him much nicer, without aggravating her rage.

Also, she’s played by Eddie Murphy.

• Knocks Norbit off his feet when she uses a swing

• Breaks the bed every time she has sex with Norbit, until they start using cinderblocks as a bed support

• Breaks the railing that controls how far back a car seat can go

• Launches a child from one end of a bouncy castle to the other

• Launches the child out of the bouncy castle completely, which deflates the entire thing

• Lifts two bullies by their necks in one hand each, and throws them away

• Knocks out a mailman with a clothesline

• Breaks a lemonade stand by running through it
