The marbled red celluloid is gorgeous to beholdβ one of the famed celluloid produced by Omas. The pen comes in a drool-worthy transparent celluloid display case and both the original refills. And both the refills still write. The pen and the box are both in A 2 condition.
USD 350 (USD 300 if you just want the pen)
The pen will be shipped via registered and insured airmail from Jakarta, Indonesia and a tracking number provided. Shipping will cost 25 USD (because of the weight of the box, 10 USD if you do not want the box).
Payment via PayPal goods and services.

Hi guys I know this may be painfully obvious to some people on here but I am wondering if there is absolutely any option for 'us little people' to shoot on film stock
I had given up this hunt a couple years ago but recently found this was being manufactured and very affordable: https://photobite.uk/product/kodak-ektachrome-professional-e100-35mm-film/
But I simply cannot find any kind of camera in circulation which can actually use it for motion picture
Does / did that ever exist? Is it only possible to film celluloid with a major studio backing you?
Would really appreciate a clear answer on this as I just find it amazing that the technology has died before it ever reached the 'pro-sumer' market
Thanks in advance for any insight offered
This week's batch features black celluloid FPs from first rate makers of the 1930s-50s. Nibs range from Flex to Superflex. As always, all are fully restored and ready to write.
Pastable link: https://imgur.com/a/6bxLL7x
Condition (n.b.): All pens listed below have been disassembled, cleaned and restored with new sacs installed in the last couple weeks. Each of these pens is guaranteed to fill and write as designed without leaks or other problems. Nibs have been adjusted when necessary to ensure that all lay down a smooth and consistent line.
THESE PENS HAVE NO CRACKS, CHIPS, PERSONALIZATIONS (except #4), LOOSE OR MISSING PARTS, BENT NIBS, MISALIGNED TINES, BROKEN/WORN OFF TIPPING, OR THREADING ISSUES.
Line Widths and Writing Samples: To provide buyers with as much information as possible, I have started to adopt the following line width standards: XXF (.1-.2mm); XF (approx .3mm); F (approx .4mm); M (approx .6mm); B (approx .8mm). Nib flexibility is determined by variation (max line width under pressure) and softness (amount of pressure). Flexibility designations based on variation generally run as follows for an XF/F nib: Semi-Flex (approx. 1mm); Flex (1.2-1.9mm); Superflex (>2mm). All line width measurements are taken with a digital caliper but should be considered approximations providing a general guide. Width may vary slightly depending on type of ink and paper used as well as amount of pressure applied. All writing samples are on Rhodia dot paper using Waterman Serenity Blue.
1. 1930-2 Wahl-Eversharp Equipoised (Black, celluloid, GPT, lever filler, 14k B Flex Factory Stub). Measures 5 1/16" capped. 14k Gold Seal Personal Point is a Flexible Factory Stub. Unflexed, it lays down a smooth and consistent B line on the down-strokes and XF line on the cross-strokes. Under moderate pressure, that line widens to a 3B+ (approx 1.8mm) (see WRITING SAMPLE). Condition excellent [B]. Price: $340 SOLD
~~2. 1950s Kaweco Schul in Box (black, celluloid, GPT, piston filler, alloy Super-Flexible F nib). Measures 4 7/8" capped and 6 7/8" posted. This pen comes in its original factory box with a generous supply of various papers, including a neat little "Instructions for Use" booklet that op
... keep reading on reddit β‘I've been hoarding some pens for a while, and am finally getting tools together to disassemble and restore. So far, the most advanced I've done is resacs on two Esterbrooks and an Osmiroid 65.
(SIDE NOTE: The Osmiroid came with about 10-12 nibs. Most of them had calligraphy or India ink dried in 'em. I've cleaned them 3 times, and there's still a film of black noticeable on the underside of the nibs. Am I gonna have to pull these nibs and get cleaning? Should I bother, or does no one care about Osmiroid pens?)
I'm using just a cheapo craft heat gun. There are more precise and expensive ones out there, I know, but the learning curve on using the cheap gun hasn't really been a problem except when I got impatient and pushed it.
What I expected was that thicker celluloid would need to be heated more gradually and for longer, as the point is to warm up the shellac behind it. However, the fattest pen I have has required the shortest heating time. Some I've worked with for a minute and the sections pop right out. Some got for ten and still won't budge, even though the celluloid is obviously hot to the touch.
Anyone got handy tips on telling which ones are going to be a problem and/or identifying when progress is being made?

1920's New Diamond Point Pen Full Size Flat Top - Black Celluloid with Single Band - LF - 14K Warranted #4 M/F Semi-Flex Nib (D Rated, due to replacement parts, age, wear, and imperfections)....The pen is Full Length, Flat Top in Black, with Single White Bands at each end. The clip on the cap has been bent, the barrel is showing slight bulging at the lever, I assume from shrinkage. The ink sac was replaced about 2 yrs ago, so it should be good to go for another couple decades. There aren't any imprints in the barrel or cap, except for the New Diamond PP on the clip. The 14K Warranted #4 is a nice nib, It's very springy and allows for some nice line variation, going from a narrow medium up to a little over Broad, I would say, when flexed. The Semi-Flex Nib requires moderate pressure to flex, and gives fantastic line variation. Great old pen to start into vintage pens, or a New Diamond PP collector. Asking $95.00 Shipped, CONUS ONLY, OBO

Hello fellow fountain pen enthusiasts, This pen I have for your consideration is made from some amazing looking material, this pen looks like it's on fire, right in front of ya. WOW! Its' probably going to fire out quickly, as the lucky person ignites a passion for vintage fountain pens with it's flaming celluloid. So corny! Anyways all purchases must be made through PayPal Goods and Services only, NO EXCEPTIONS!, per r/penswap rules. The asking price includes Priority Box Shipping through USPS, CONUS ONLY, insured for the value of pen and includes tracking info. I am open to international shipping, at buyers expense and risk, if lost or damaged in transit. Please respond in post prior to sending a DM. Thanks for taking the time to check this post.

The color on this pen is awesome, pictures just don't do it justice. The pen is in good working order. If you are unfamiliar with this type of filling system, unscrew the back piston knob a couple turns, the ink should begin to flow, leave in this position while you write, then turn pen nib up and tighten back piston rod cap. The ink reservoir is now sealed and won't allow any ink into the feed and section until you loosen the rod knob again. The clip and cap band have some brassing, from careful use. The Steel Fine Full Flex nib on this pen is amazing. It's nearly as soft as some of my gold nibs. It writes a fine line without pressure, and easily flexes to a BB with mild pressure. The pen is 4 7/8 inches capped, 4 3/8 inches uncapped and 5 3/4 inches posted. This pen is really fun to write with and has loads of flex. And being that it's cold in the northern half of the U.S., you could warm yourself right up with this gorgeous pen.SOLD Asking $85.00 w/ Shipping, CONUS ONLY OBO SOLD If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and ask.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Dear Penswappers,
up for grabs is a Montegrappa Miya in the red celluloid finish. This pen features the fameous bulbeous shape in the body.
The pen is equiped with an 18k Oblique Broad duotone nib with a heart-shaped breather hole. All metal on the pen is (hallmarked) sterling silver. Below are some pictures including a small writing sample:
Verification: UH2Kwhg.jpg (3000Γ4000) (imgur.com)
The pen has been lovelingly used. There are no marks, schrinkage spots, or anything. There are some microscratches, as espected, on the pen. Three fins have been broken off of the feed, but this in no way affects the pen.
Shipping will be from Belgium, and I'm willing to ship worldwide. I do have a Montegrappa box if you'd want it as well :) The price is 340 euros net to me.
Best regards
Ruben
Managed to find an XL rare Night Owl Secret Celluloid collaboration. Possibly only 30 made. I love it but itβs a size too big. Looking to trade for a Large.
Hi,
I've been using celluloid for a long time, and I really liked it.
With their 0.22 update they migrated to gtk4, and now it's buggy, the subtitles flicker, all the UI is blurred, and my gtk theme isn't applied.
I'm not using a DE, I use Qtile on X11 as my WM.
I downgraded, but how could I fix this?
Hi all, trying to learn more about movie making and techniques and have been learning about types of filming. It might be an obvious question but does the technique used make a difference when watching at home (not through a projector) as the film has been digitised for that format? Is the difference only noticeable when being projected? Hope that makes sense as a question.
Prices include USA shipping, and I can ship worldwide at cost.
##Visconti Wall Street 18k F {B-} With 5 ink samples and a brand new Endless Recorder with OLD 68gsm Tomoe River paper. This pen comes with an 18k gold nib from before the switch to palladium. No box.
B- because of some pitting inside the inner cap, and the MyPen medallion spins freely on the cap. Some people fix this by placing a drop of glue under the medallion, it is a common problem. The lacquer work on the clip is surprisingly good considering the pen's age and Visconti QC from the era. The stacked celluloid is in great shape, no scratches on it.
Ink samples include 1) Bungubox Dandyism, 2) Kaweco Caramel Brown, 3) Iro Yama-Budo, 4) RO Ever Green, 5) Monteverde Topaz.
Asking $375 $350 for the bundle. Additional Pics
##Visconti Wall Street 23k M {A2} This pen is like new, I inked it once and I bought it NOS. Comes with original box. Pen is perfect and writes very well. $375
##Visconti Corsani Octagonal 18k Stub {A2} This is a special production of the Wall Street celluloid by Stilograph Corasni. Only 50 pieces produced. Comes with 18k gold stub nib. This pen has a double-reservoir power filler, and the Visconti hook-and-latch capping system. A very special pen that I wish I didn't have to sell. $745 p.s. please note the ink bottle is missing.

A very rare pen from the 1950s. Not in collector grade cosmetic condition, but still in a glossy and aesthetically good-looking condition. The double telescopic piston works perfectly but the pen will need a new cork seal.
The 14C F nib is a thing of beauty: capable of a B and almost immediately snapping back to a hairline F. Please have a look at the writing sample.
The high-res photos are part of the description. Please have a good look at them to get a more informed idea about condition.
Short striated amber ink window. Flat ebonite ski slope feed.
This was made for the export market and has MASTERPIECE engraved on the cap band.
The blind cap is marked F. And also O.K. There is a lot of debate about what O.K. stands for. But most probably it was marked for and made for some Montblanc distributor in India. Others think that it stands for oblique kugelβ but this nib has no such characteristic. It is a gorgeous nib that goes from hairline to B and snaps back immediately to its hairline F width.
Condition: D. Because the cork seal needs to be replaced.
375 USD or best offer plus 17 USD shipping.
The pen will be shipped from Jakarta, Indonesia via registered and insured airmail and a tracking number provided. Payment via PayPal goods and services.
If you have any questions or need more photos please PM. Comment in the thread before PMing.

Hello fountain pen flex writers, another great quality flex pen here. The Aikin (unknown why there's the mis spelling of Aiken, as Waterman was in control of company during this time? If any experts would like to chime in that would be awesome) 14k wasn't pure enough to be considered gold in Euro market, required minimum of 18K, hence the reason for the 18K nib. Original cap clip is missing, but there is a Mabie Todd & Co Ltd "Clipper" Accomodation clip on it in place of it
