A list of puns related to "Nodal"
Hi, I had an ultrasound-guided biopsy of an axillary lymph node which confirmed the presence of squamous cell carcinoma. I had surgery to remove all axillary lymph nodes five-and-a-half weeks later, and the pathology report from the surgery showed some extra-nodal extension on the cancerous node. (The other nodes were clear.)
Does anyone know if the biopsy itself could have caused the ENE? That is, could punching a hole in the node wall have allowed the squamous cells to escape?
And if so, how long would it take before those escaped cells could travel elsewhere in the body?
Thanks for any advice.
Hi,
This may be stupid but,
I was looking over nodal analysis videos and saw that a simplification that the instructor made was to assume all currents move out from the node for each node within the circuit. Whenever I use this assumption I always get the correct answer. I just want to know why this assumption works.
My Mother just got her CT scan results and so far cancer was not detected in any other organs or part save for the lymph nodes. Which are enlarged and are comparable to nodal metastatic diease. My question is what is that exactly? She sees the Oncologist Monday but we were curious about what that means the Nodal thing
Natal Scorpio NNs are starting this today 1/18/22. This happens when weβre approximately 9, 27, 46, 65 and 83 years old. I have my own NN in Scorpio in my 1st house conjunct Pluto. My sun and Mercury are in 7th house Taurus. I read that this return can be much more significant if itβs in the angular houses. Who has experience with this? How did it affect your life? Was it difficult?
Excited for the shift in nodals
I hope we know that there is an option in workbench mechanical where once after solving, the user can right click on the requested output result say VM Stress and export the nodal and its respective VM stress values as either text file or .csv file.
I need to know whether there is a way to import back this same text file or .csv file into ansys such that it directly prints the new VM stress contours if I have made any changes to the VM stress values for each nodes.
I am researching chemo options for Nodal, MZ Non-Hopkins, Type B, Lymphoma. My Doc wants me to start with Rituxin. Lymph nodes in the groin area and right leg bone marrow are affected. I am a very healthy 71 YO, still ski and golf and want to continue. Are there better options in your opinion. Thanks, Bill
Hi everybody,
I'm writing a FEM solver, and right now I'm trying to calculate element stresses and strains. I have a working software for assembling and solving linear problems. I'm following the Felipe's "Introduction to the finite element methods", and I'm at chapter 28 "Stress recovery".
I have solved Ku = f. Strain in any given point is e = B*u_i, where i denotes an element index, and B is the strain-displacement matrix assembled using the x and y derivatives of the element shape functions evaluated at the point where we are calculating strains. The corresponding stress is Ο = E*e = E*B*u_i. I have the nodal displacements u, the B matrix for each element I could save from a previous step where I calculate the element stiffness matrix.
It's my understanding that I should evaluate Ο at the Gauss integration points and then extrapolate those values to the element node points. But how do I evaluate Ο at the Gauss integration points from displacement at the node..? Can I get the strain by dividing the new position of a new with its original position?
I can't really make sense of the difference between ΞΎ' & Ξ·' versus ΞΎ & Ξ· in the equation and figures below. How does ΞΎ & Ξ· relate to the displacement I've solved for in u?

I feel like I'm really close to figuring it out but like I'm missing something..
Last year, I started a concerted effort to only buy natural fibers, and to really wear out my synthetic clothes before throwing them away. I've bought predominantly cotton and wool, as they're natural, comfortable and don't make me feel like I'm wearing a trashbag.
It's now time to replace my tattered underwear and socks, and I've found the search for natural fibers more diffocult than I thought. It's nearly impossible to find socks without at least a little bit of a synthetic stretch material in them, and underwear I like and that fits is also somewhat difficult to find without being "cotton blend" or "cotton stretch".
Which brings me to modal. Initially, when I read that viscose and modal are rayin, I dismissed it as a synthetic. Apparently it's not, and actually uses substantially less water than cotton during manufacture. While water usage is important, my initial reason for going all natural was to reduce microplastics and just wearing plastic in general.
My questions are as follows:
Thanks in advance for you help! I will crosspost to r/sustainability if it would be beneficial.
Not just any normal nodal return. I have natal NN at 18 degrees Taurus in my 12th house conjunct natal anti-Vertex (2 degree orb) and natal Mars (3 degree orb).
On August 1st I will have my nodal return on the exact orb ALSO conjunct transiting Mars and Uranus.
Needless to say, thatβs a lot of planetary action on one spot. Iβve done a lot of reading and research over the years on the nodes but a lot of information on the 12th house is murky (go figure). Makes me a little nervous to be honest, especially after these last couple years. Any insights would be appreciated.
Hi all, I know a little about astrology, but am just reading about the nodes. My north node is gemini in the 11th house, and it turns out this is the current placement of the north node. Can anyone tell me what a nodal return means? And more specifically, what it means in Gemini? Over the last year, so many struggles have come to a head for me, to the point that I'm constantly depressed, anhedonic, or feel lost and without purpose. I'm getting ready to graduate from a masters program, and I have no idea what to do with my life. I feel stuck and like I can't point to one area that I feel ok about. My relationships, career prospects, geography, family, past--everwhere I look it's trouble and unhappiness. At the same time, I know these feelings are being manifested by me, and they're mostly unaffected by what's going on externally. Is this part of a lesson? Am I failing it? Is there anything to fail? Any guidance or insight is so appreciated. Thank you.

Acratech Ultimate Ballhead with Right Side Controls $275 $225
Photos: https://ibb.co/album/PcT3My
Acratech makes some of the absolute highest quality ballheads money can buy, and the Ultimate is what started it all. Excellent for all types of photography but particularly excels with astro and macro due to the angle of the ball clamp. This particular version with the optional right side controls is perfection for astro.
This one is in good user condition, functionally it works well but there are definitely some marks to the finish, particularly on the Arca clamp. There is also a nick on the βspineβ and some marks on the bottom of the base from attaching to tripods. Action is smooth save for a slight jerkiness with the Arca Swiss -style clamp knob. This didnβt particularly bother me but it should be an easy thing for Acratech to fix. Happy to mail this to Acratech on your behalf for them to put it back in tip top condition, contact me for details.
Leofoto EB-36 Ball Head $45 $40

This is a phenomenal ballhead for the money. Absolutely the smoothest Iβve ever experienced, even compared with heads that cost several hundreds of dollars. Truly a pleasure to use and perfect for a rock solid lightweight setup.
This is in excellent condition β 9/10 Iβd say, sparingly used. Functionally it operates at 100%. Only imperfections to speak of are a few nicks to the anodization on the clamp and some knobs, and some slight wear to the base where it screwed onto my tripods.
Fujifilm X-T1 Black (for parts) $100

~~Not sure what is wrong with it but it doesnβt turn on. Looks to be in decent condition, save for the typical stretched/unglued grips, slightly bowed HDMI door, and missing flash and VG pin covers. Sensor and lens contacts are clean. All buttons, dials, and switches feel nice. No sign
... keep reading on reddit β‘My north node is in Scorpio in the 12th house, south node in Taurus. Iβm wondering what impact this shift will have, if any, on my life path. Iβve been on a massive transforming journey for a year now, so this feels significant
Anyone trying to go see Christian Nodal on the 11th at Microsoft Theater in LAπ€
Hey, I've been experimenting with Nodal Mechanics via Thaumic Bases' Nodal Manipulator and Node Linker and I've found out a few things I thought I'd share cause I haven't seen them written down online anywhere
This way, you can stabilise a sinister node without damaging your biome, and can easily move nodes between it's usual place and the manipulator rather than fiddling around with a multiblock jar
Edit: this also works with Hungry Nodes, so no more worries about having to stabilize one of them either
Here is how we can finally access the power of a tainted node without having to damage the biome or deal with the fact that you can't use the Purity focus from Blightbuster. You can transfer all of the Vis and 70% of the Node's max capacity onto a clean node, which will remain clean if the tainted node is shielded and doesn't take too long to drain. This also destroys the tainted node, so you don't have to worry about it any more. Plus, using the Flux Scrubber wand focus, the excess flux from the linkage can be converted into any random crystallised essentia, which is always useful (providing you get around to using it, if you're not as disorganised as me)
Hopefully this isn't too common knowledge and you can finally enhance your nodes that little bit more
