I plan on evolving both eventually, but grinding for super stones is really sloooow and I hate it so it's gonna be a while before I gather supplies for both of them.
They look very similar to me so the question is - which one should I super evolve first?
I'm focusing on Titans and PvE btw!
Not quite happy with it yet, but here goes nothing.
Naphtha Nereid
You see a humanoid like being composed of blue fire. It is androgynous but has both incredibly striking eyes and a multicolored flame where itβs hair would be that comes to a point.
Knowledge. Parapsychology, Arcana (Common DC 12, Unusual DC 14, Secret DC 16).
Common knowledge. These spirits are made of natural gas and are found through the Scooped Valley of Alberta, but often migrate throughout Strathcan.
Unusual knowledge. They are believed to be the reincarnation of a oil and gas industry mascot that has been given life from the Hodgepocalypse.
Secret Knowledge. If a Naphtha Nereid agrees to do something, they will do it or die trying, regardless of whether they want to do it. They do get resentful if it is beyond their abilities though and are not into hyperbole. They do like keeping people they like warm and safe and often enter agreements with the locals to deal with the cold Canadian winters.

Innate Spellcasting. The Naphtha Nereid's innate spell casting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following Spells, requiring no material components:
At will: Produce Flame,
3/day: Expeditious Retreat, Tongues
1/day each: Gaseous Form, Wall of Fire
Transparency. When in an area filled with fire, a Naphtha Nereidβs body becomes transparent, effectively rendering her invisible. She can become visible or transparent on her turn without using an action.

I'm curious to know when the East 238th Street station on the 2 and 5 changed its name to Nereid Avenue. According to the Wikipedia page, it was originally supposed to be Nereid but then it changed to 238th... at some point, it went back to Nereid.
Also, to note, Bee Line buses still refer to the station as 238th.

Let me start off by addressing the elephant in the room: S92's absolutely horrendous customer service regarding the Resurrection orders from this year (and last year?) still not being shipped out with nary an update, leading to many people stressing over their orders and issuing PayPal chargebacks. I am a newbie in this community, and was unaware of this mess when I first found out about S92 and placed my order. I have some theories about why my order was not affected -- I am a first-time international customer and my order consisted of items that were already in stock. However, I don't see myself buying directly from S92 again because of the Res order stories. Any respectable brand would not treat their customers in such a way. If you're a newbie like me, there are many posts on the subreddit regarding this topic and remember to do your research regarding any brand, big or small, before buying!
This is my first time using perfume oils and to be honest, I'm not a fan. I don't like the application method (wrist against bottle and flip) as I find it always somehow gets messy, and I don't like the slight oil residue left on my wrists. I'm the kind of person who only puts hand cream on the back of my hands and not on my palms because I can't stand the feeling of it. I also prefer the higher sillage that comes with alcohol-based sprays. I did not find the oil format to have longer longevity in comparison. In any case this doesn't deter me from continuing to dip my toes into the world of indie perfume oils, but if the option is available, I will always go for an alcohol version.
I gravitate heavily towards fruity florals but I also like a good leather/suede as long as it's not too harsh. I hate aldehydic, vanilla, tobacco, and amber notes in mainstream perfumery. I also tend to avoid anything described as oriental (petition to get rid of this antiquated perfume category name?? As an East Asian person I cringe every time I see someone use it).
My order (a total of 11 samples) came in a bubble mailer and the samples were packed into two smaller cardboard boxes with no extra padding inside. Everything arrived intact however I think it would've been safer if there was cushioning or separation between each individual sample. The sample vials were really long (just under 2 1/2 inches in length) which I found much easier to hold when opening in comparison to the tiny little nubs I'm used to with mainstream perfume houses. In my next session I wanted to use a Nereid as an optional encounter. One thing I have been struggling with, however, is motivation. I can come up with excuses about why a Nereid would attack adventurers but looking at the description, it reads:
Many sailors have met their doom following a nereid, for though a nereidβs beauty is otherworldly, her watery kiss is death
However, their alignment is generally chaotic neutral. This brings the question, why would they kill sailors? I would assume not for the fun of it because that would make them evil. Do they get some sort of sustenance from (or maybe eat?) the humans they kill? Do we have any insights about their society or mindset?
If there is no official answer, what are your opinions on this? Any chaotic neutral experts out there? π

Might seem like a nuance, but why does the 5 line end there instead of at Wakefield itself? It's literally the next stop over, I don't know what difference if any that makes. Yes, I know the 5 does not often head up White Plains Rd but even so, just seems odd.

I've been crazy about Les Nereides jewelry ever since I visited Paris with a friend and she told me we had to visit a store she was obsessed with, and that this wasn't negotiable. I wasn't expecting to fall in love, but when she pulled me into a charming, tiny shop along the cobblestone street near Montmartre filled with delicate enamel pieces inspired by nature and fairy tales, I instantly new that I'd found a new favorite.
