A list of puns related to "Multidirectional"
On the recommendation of a fellow Mottizen, I recently watched Netflix's show loosely based on the League of Legends game. The recommendation was solid, and I repeat it to anyone on the fence or ignorant of the show. For a modern show, it is shocking in its depth and nuance, especially given the source material, which primarily exists to give all the named characters a reason to fight each other with ludicrous weaponry. As an overview, "Arcane" is a show about a long list of characters struggling to rise (or not fall) in a Steampunk city organized vertically, with the lower classes literally below ground and the upper living in the clouds.
(Spoilers)
The cast is a series of characters that if not directly translatable, at least recognizable to most people. The Elon-Musk-ish Jayce, the science entrepreneur, the crime lord Silco, gang leaders, corrupt policemen and women, ambassadors from a far-off but much more powerful land etc.
So, what makes it good? Primarily that all the people are understandable. There are antagonists, but no real villains, although everyone in the show has a villain of their own (or more). It's about how everyone sees themselves on the "right side", and how conflicts are real, not simple misunderstandings. It's a paean to conflict theory, with a sympathetic (and otherwise) portrayal for almost everyone.
Secondarily, it is how it concieves of power, which in the show (as life?) is primarily about the capacity for violence. We see how uninterested, nonpolitical people become invested in acquiring power, how power corrupts them over time, and how eventually they must choose between ends and means.
Finally, it is about how power is distributed, even in a heirarchichal society. The Council, nominally in charge of the whole city, doesn't even know about much of the place, and can only exert minimal influence across the river that divides the middle- and upper-class Piltover ("Topside") from Bottom. There is also a wonderful social gradient, the story is not manichean. The councilor Mel is from a powerful but distant land, think a Kennedy who moved to a small island nation in the carribean and became part of its ruling class. There is a gap even between her and the rest of the Council, and the council is far above the named Houses of the upper class, which are in turn vastly more rich and powerful than the middle classes. There is some wonderful social commentary involving rich-kid Caitlyn joining the Enforcers (basically police),

Thanks all! I'm still trying to find a paper or study to present in class so I'd appreciate it if anyone happens to have one.
The Upcoming Granzon line that bykski is releasing honestly has me really interested in their products for the first time. I managed to have a set of these elbow fittings imported. They are truly some unique elbow fittings.
I love the style of this portfolio with a split screen thats sections, as you scroll, move simultaneously to meet each other, each in a different direction. Yet dozens of Google searches havenβt turned up any suggestion for where to begin making something like this or what I should be working with to create such a thing (do I need a JavaScript plugin? can this be done with CSS? etc). I havenβt even found another website with a similar layout. This leads me to believe I am not looking up the right terms or in the right locations. Iβm pretty inexperienced, so I would be so grateful to anyone who can point me in the direction of a tutorial, similar website, or even just a better search term. Any idea where to find something like this?
I'm trying to make a railway tram path in the shape of a cross. when you're riding it, it works great. you can go to any branch.
the issue i'm having is: When I use a button (bottom of the cross) to call the tram when it's in the horizontal arms of the cross, it can't change axis and come down to the bottom. it just goes back and forth across the right and left arms of the cross forever, until I make the signal stop.
What can I do to fix this?
I have frackin universe installed but the vanilla tram does this as well.

I know there are undoubtedly implementations of this in other contexts, but I really like Ravencoinβs concept and i think the concept of multidirectional transactions fits nicely with it so i wanted to post it here to see what yall think. Full disclosure that although iβm an engineer, i have done zero crypto development and as a result wouldnβt know if this is a feasible uplift, if it should be an application on top of ravencoin, a core part of it, etc. However, I think if it were integrated into the actual project, it would make ravencoin more lucrative and stand out even more than it does with asset creation. Basically, the concept is multi-directional asset transactions with a βbrokerβ.
The flow would be something like the following, assuming 2 parties for simplicity:
Design wise, it could be that every βbrokerβ is actually just a separate wallet that is emptied and deleted once the transaction is complete, or it could be a legitimate brokerage service.
I think the use cases for this could vary, and I think thatβs why Ravencoin is particularly good for this. Small business owners/craftspeople could rely on this mode of transaction to avoid doing work without getting paid, homeowners would safely send the deed of their house to someone else and get paid without the need for a middle man, and big corporations could use it as a way of ensuring trust when sending a large amount of assets.
What do you think? Is this something that makes sense for a crypto to handle or should we leave it to a third party? Iβm partial to Ravencoin handling it and keeping it opensource and am wondering if itβs worth proposing to their d

When I was a child I used to play this space survival shooting game on my Power Mac. It was a Power Macintosh 8100/80AV if that helps (1995-1999?). This game was similar to Sinistar in concept except a lot darker. You roamed through space searching for some sort of entity (i can't remember if it was aliens or demons or w/e) that when you found it would chase you down and kill you. It had very good pixelated graphics, but i think your ship itself was a prerendered 3d model. There was a HUD on the right side of the screen with your stats and maybe a picture of your pilot? But what I do remember was that when you died your ship would explode in a spurt of blood and there would be a Wilhelm-esque scream. It was very tense and scary for me as a child. Its not of the Ur-quan series and has no rpg elements from what i remmber. Please help!
Basically looking for something like the top-down levels in Thunder Force 2 where you have the freedom to move wherever you want, essentially games that are a 2D version of the boss battles in Starfox 64. Cheers!
