Hey guys, I've gotten a bunch of requests for this review so here goes. I haven't done one before so bear with me, and if you have questions, feel free to leave them in the comments and I will do my best to answer.
I've just gotten back from riding for about 2 hours. I gotta say, I'm impressed. I got the orange (80a) variety. The only other Otang wheel I've ridden is the Durian in 86a, and this wheel is orders of magnitudes above it in performance.
These wheels slide, man. Seriously. It's super easy to initiate a slide in these. I mean super easy. If you need a wheel to do some slow freeride, look at the Morongas. They are stone-ground so you'll get a somewhat nice slide right out of the box. At first, the slide is a teeny bit chattery, but after a couple stand-up 180's they smooth out. I wouldn't describe them as buttery, or chalky. I'd say somewhere in between. The hook-up is nicely defined. (I'm not sure how to describe it, really. I just like it) and the slide is very consistent.
These wheels aren't going to be the quietest wheels on the block in terms of cruising however. The large core (same as on the Baluts) makes for a louder ride, but it's not actually that rough. They are pretty light though, so for you freestylers, it makes the board a bit easier to throw around for those shuvits, bigspins etc. Also, as I mentioned, you can bust out some slides at really low speeds (even in 80a, I shudder to think of 86a), adding some freedom to your freestyle line.
That's all I can think of, let me know if I should add anything else. All in all, worth it. Smooth slide, consistent, good hook-up and release point. Good job, Otang.
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
