A list of puns related to "Mohegan People"
I'm not talking about Mohegan sun casino btw. I mean actual historical sites where I can learn about their customs, spirituality, way of life etc. Any old Mohegan settlements or religious temples? Cave paintings? Museums? Let me know.
My husband (married 22 years) went to the Mohegan Sun during the Miss America pageant and had sex with someone he met on Tuesday, 12/14 evening. He met her while they were looking at shoes. I noticed his life360 turned on briefly at 8am then turned off (he stayed at a different hotel). I found out because I had a horrible gut feeling. I put a recording device in his car and discovered his affair within 2 hours of placing it. He called her on 12/19 to tell her that her scent and skin drove him crazy and proceeded to make plans to see her in New Orleans in February. She responded with wanting to and whatever was fun.
I confronted him and he said it was stupid and he was angry with me for riding him for almost 3 years about his first emotional affair that I discovered while looking at his LinkedIn messages.
I'm beyond hurt and in disbelief. We built a beautiful family and memories and we're trying to fix our marriage by going to counseling. We were best friends in High School... I believed he was a genuinely good guy with integrity...but he has changed..
I just purchased Healing from Infidelity. I want to try so hard to make this work because I know I didn't the first time. But I have so many questions he refuses to answer. He says he's drawing a line. He doesn't want me beating him up to a pulp with the info for the rest of our lives.
My questions: I'm wondering if I'm so good that I caught the 2 extramarital affairs he had. I'm thinking he had more since he traveled so frequently for work. I want to know this AP's name. She's affiliated with the Miss America organization and she's from VT, but he pretty much won't give me more info than what I found on my own. Also, please share books that have helped
If there are people on here who have saved their marriages, please lmk if pushing my questions aside would help or hurt my attempt at fixing us.
Hi all! I am thinking about having a small bachelorette weekend in May this year. Iβm 26 and would have a group of 6 other ladies, 18-32 with me. Iβd like to stay at one of the casinos because itβs safer, no drunk driving (for those who are able to drink), everyone and everything in one place. Iβve been to Foxwoods a couple times and itβs fine, nothing fancy. I wondered what other people might think comparing the two? I read a post elsewhere dated 2009 that Mohegan was a younger crowd with better dining and activities, but the websites alone seem relatively similar. Thoughts? Thanks!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
This post examines eight major Thanksgiving myths, covering these topics.
If you're more interested in watching a video, you can view this same content here.
The only two colonial primary sources of the event, written by Edward Winslow and William Bradford, were lost during the eighteenth century, which contributed to the historical obscurity of the event, and its lack of cultural recognition outside the New England states. I will be drawing on these two primary sources throughout this post, as well as on mainstream scholarly commentary.
The secular festival myth
One common belief is that the 1621 meal was not actually a Christian thanksgiving to God, but was actually a simple meal with which the Pilgrims thanked the local Wampanoag people for helping survive. [1] From a slightly different perspective their 2001 book The Times of Their Lives: Life, Love, and Death in Plymouth Colony, James and Patricia Deetz similarly make the claim that since the Winslow account of the 1621 meal βmakes no mention of thanksβ, it is βnot close enough for us to see the event as the βfirst Thanksgivingβ. [2] Instead, they characterize it as an English harvest festival, of no religious significance.
Historian Jeremy Bangs, who has specialized in the study of the Pilgrims, takes issue with this conclusion, considering it badly founded on insufficient evidence. [3] He points out that even if it was a harvest festival, such occasion were certainly not secular, and were accompanied by prayers. He notes that the Book of Common Prayer the Pilgrims would have taken them from England, actually contains a prayer specifically for a harvest thanksgiving. [4]
Additionally, Bangs observes that Winslowβs thanksgiving account βincludes biblical phrases referring to texts whose completion includes thanksgivingβ, which would certainly have been known by the other members of the community, and recognized as part of the mealβs fundamentally religious character. [5]
Bangs concludes by writing βWe think the Pilgrims should have thanked the Indiansβ, before adding that it is βstill inaccurate to bend the evidence to suggest that the P

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

my little rant regarding ticketmaster..
iβm sitting here now on the mohegan sun page for tickets and see that, yes, there are general admission tickets available, but theyβre Ticketmaster Official Platinum so it costs $230 a ticket before fees. i tried to look into platinum to see what it really means and it quite literally says theyβre dynamically priced dependent on demand..
aka ticketmaster sees the amount of people who wants the tickets and are jacking it up so the highest bidder takes it. itβs sad mainly because thereβs no way around TM, TM/Live Nation is slowly buying out venues and monopolizing the live music industry. itβs no coincidence that i only had success buying tickets for barclays center, which ran through seatgeek, which i was skeptical of originally.
Pilot on me!!
That has got to be one of the lamest crowds I've seen lately at a show! It was like hardly anyone seemed into it, the crowd was barely moving... haven't seen Dave in YEARS! They definitely did not disappoint though, just as incredible as I remember!!!
Update: tonight 11/9/21 crowd was thousands times better tonight, seeMed everyone was much more into it tonight !!!
Nothing, he was gladiator.
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
