A list of puns related to "Mixology"
So Iβve been playing around with mixing different flower strains in my grinder before medicating and I discovered a nice trio all by the same company. No matter which way Iβve mixed them the salads come out excellent. Cresco/Supply Elegant Orb, Funky Pine, and Keystone Banana. All of them are good on their own but wow when mixed together one and one it really boosts the smell and effects nicely IMO. Happy toking!
I have mixed feelings about it, on the one hand it sounds sort of pretentious, on the other "bartender" isn't necessarily accurate for someone who makes cocktails at home as a hobby and there isn't really another term for it that I know of.
Any drink suggestions for an aspiring dorm room mixologist? Have already been making rum & cokes, dark n stormys, and moscow mules and was looking for new drinks to try making.
Does anyone know if anywhere in the DMV doing mixology classes for a date night, not to become a bartender? Looking for a date night activity!
Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for in person or online mixology classes? I live on the west side of Cleveland. And always the closer to home the better!! Thanks
This analogy really helped me understand things better when I was just starting out learning how to prepare food!
My boyfriend has been extremely interested in making drinks, he has no experience and has been looking into learning it.
Since christmas is coming, I thought I can help him out but I have no clue on how any of this works so Iβm reaching out to the members of this subreddit to help me create the perfect gift for my boyfriend!
He is only a beginner, in fact he hasnβt begun yet but is always watching related videos. I decided iβm going to buy him a starter mixer kit with a cocktail shaker and etc. I will buy him some syrups (I need some idea on what type of syrups to get). And what alcohol should I gift as a starter? Is there anything else that I should add to it ...
Please help me create him a little starter kit !! My budget is around $200
Had to figure this out the hard way. She was just dancing around the club and I couldnt figure out why. Well eventually looked for the skills and saw that she didnt have mixology skill. If you have mastercontroller and cheats addon then you can give skills otherwise I assume you gotta somehow remove the bar and wait until the game culls the sim intended as bartender and hope the next one is given the mixology skill as intended.
I like most of the VE mods, they do great work, and it adds flavor to the game, but at least imo, Mixology is bad.
It is way to overpowered with its buffs lasting days, doesn't feel right, and you get to a point in the game where you have a ton of booze (gourmet cocktails) laying around giving massive buffs, and a long drug policy for each drink where you never fall in moral.
I feel they didn't think it through, or it isn't polished like the other VE mods, and just breaks the game.
But what are your thoughts?
its a popular mod, do you use it in your games?
Iβve created 3 easy blueprints which last under 7 seconds each:

I hope you enjoy!
A little more background. I pay attention when she talks about it but it's not my world. She does have a lot of beautiful glassware and decanters, shakers, strainers, stirrers, muddlers, our fridge ice full of ice cube trays of all varieties, and we even bought a dehydrator so she can make "dust". This leaves me at kind of a loss of what else she might want.
They just autonomously make endless amounts of cocktails and leave them around to get smelly when I'm not controlling them! Is this just my game or does this happen to anyone else? Is there a workaround in MCCC or something?
Iβm looking for a cocktail/mixology class for 2-6 people in the Bay Area for my fiancΓ©βs upcoming birthday. Iβd love to hear about your experiences for both in-person classes or online sessions! Weβre based in San Mateo and are fully vaccinated + boosters.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 26%. (I'm a bot)
> Sales of Cognac shot up by 30.9% in value and 16.2% in volume in 2021, even exceeding their pre-pandemic level, the National Interprofessional Bureau of Cognac said on Monday.
> "Cognac remains marked by a very strong dynamic. The demand has never been so important on our markets as this year," said BNIC president Christophe Veral.
> The United States, the largest export market, bought 115 million bottles last year, i.e. 11.1% more than in 2020, while sales in China, Cognac's second-largest market, jumped by 55, 8%, for 34 million bottles shipped.
> Elsewhere, Cognac sales are growing in "New markets", in South Africa and Nigeria in particular, as well as in traditional ones, up 8.1% in volume in Europe.
> In France, Cognac also recorded strong growth, driven by "The development of mixology", which attracts "New customers in search of authentic products".
> 97% export-oriented, Cognac sales had fallen by 22.3% in value in 2020, the pandemic having favored sales on the internet, a market where less expensive bottles dominate.

I took a really cool 3-hour mixology class at a bar in SF and I'm looking for something similar to do with friends in the triangle. I want to do it in person--NOT virtually. Does anyone know of anything like that?
I found a few options--has anyone tried these?
* Is there an audiobook you cannot stop listening to? Share it!
* Is there a digital book eating up your Kindle battery? Don't be stingy! Tell us about it!
* Papery goodness? Share it.

As someone in community college with his lifelong friends in different states for college, it was really nice to see Annie and Troy go through moments of growing up.
So far I've mostly bartended large-volume kind of establishments as well as restaurant bars that sell as "craft-cocktail" but aren't really in the sense that selection is low, no wide variety of liqueurs, amaros etc. I have immense respect for bartenders that are able to come up with things on the spot, using somewhat unorthodox ingredients, etc.
I feel like I can do the bartender "workflow" but most of the "craft" side of it has been hobby/exploring on my own with a limited budget, and for the most part just is dialing in already-established recipes.
I was wondering if people here had any suggestions for resources that shed light on how to balance cocktails, etc.? I feel like I get the general idea of it but then I'll come across cocktails where the ingredients are things I've never heard of or never really thought of in that context, like throwing fernet in a red wine-based cocktail with cola-syrup.
I want to learn the theoretical basics of bar tending, wine/spirits & mixology before asking to be physically trained @ that station, but not looking to invest in an "accredited" program because 1. they're expensive here & 2. most of the restaurants around here just want you to have some informal training & a printed certificate from an online "school" will suffice (think Coursera). (If I like it, I'll get trained officially, but I want to test it out first.)
However, I can't seem to find any! At first Google, they appear to be available, but get into the details & it's like $500/course which I don't have.
Im looking specifically at βThe Joy of Mixologyβ and βCocktail Codexβ as a gift for my girlfriend whoβs interested in cocktails. As a beginner what book would be best suited as a good mix of technique and recipes?
My boyfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary and have decided to visit Portland for a week's stay. We both wanted to get each other more of an experience as a present rather than a physical gift. He's always saying he wants to take a cooking class or learn to make mixed drinks, and I'd love to get us a spot/purchase a private lesson for the two of us on our vacation. Any suggestions as to where in downtown Portland would be best to go? Even if it's a little ways from there. Thanks!
My father is a big cocktail lover and Iβd love to find a class series or course for him in Cbus for mixology. Any recommendations? Thanks!
She already has the basics, and I donβt know much about mixology to know what other fun accessories might be something appreciated. I saw on Amazon they have edible glitter for drinks. Is there something else youβve come across that may be kitschy but someone making drinks at home with friends might find fun?
Hey everyone! I recently discovered this amazing YouTube channels, "Truffle on the Rocks" and "Cocktail Time with Kevin Koss". I love their videos, and I wanted to ask you if you know any other channels like these two
Hey everyone, obligatory apology for formatting!
Iβve worked in hospo for ten years but none of the bars Iβve worked in have had cocktails as part of their drinks menu (pubs and backpacker bars mostly). Iβve now left the hospo industry due to lockdowns preventing me from getting stable hours, but I desperately miss it and Iβm keen to get back into it in the future. Iβd like to improve my CV and be able to confidently make cocktails once I return to the industry. What x5 basic cocktails would you recommend learning and mastering, as a starting point?
Also, as Iβll be learning mixology from home rather than in a professional capacity in a bar, can you recommend any decent mixologist YouTube channels to learn from? (Please note Iβm from the U.K., I know some cocktails do vary slightly from country to country)
Finally, any tips or advice for a beginner? Thanks!
