A list of puns related to "Millicent"
I just need it to be complete.
the title.
I'm moving to the uk and thinking about changing my name, and these are my top two candidates, which do you think it's better?
I'm 19f dark haired, short, love the color orange and to laugh at really bad jokes.

Millicent, Restless Revenant - 5WU
Legendary Creature - Spirit Soldier

>Flying
>Whenever ~ or another nontoken Spirit you control dies or deals combat damage to a player, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying

And for the spirit commander deck, here's Millicent! Easily the best spirit commander for UW since Ranar and now she specifically cares about spirits! Can't wait to hit face with some spooky bois
Iβm tuning my Millicent deck to be as efficient/effective as much as possible (within budget). That being said, how many [[Coastal Piracy]] effects would be optimal? Iβm currently running 3 of them and [[Kindred Discovery]] to keep my hand full of cards, but Iβm wondering if that is a bit of overkill.
List is here: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/can-i-interest-you-in-a-fine-spirit/?cb=1641521899
Any other suggestions on how to tune this deck a bit more?
So I am a huge fan of tribal decks and with the release of Millicent I was super excited to get a spirit tribal. But ever since building my deck it has just been underwhelming and honestly hasn't worked at all yet. Just asking for people to take a look and let me know where you think I am falling short? Are there any good changes that I could make to make it more consistent. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4480485#paper
So If im attacking with [[Millicent Restless Revenant]] and 2 other spirits do i get 3 spirit tokens or just the 1?
Ive been playing this card in edh and have just been getting the one based on how ive read the card.

I was on the Mystic Remoras charity stream this past weekend and had intended on recording my games there, But didn't due to not having enough time to tweak for their setup. I have linked to the VOD of their stream, and I join in around the 16 and a half hour mark if you want to check that out.

So long story short, brewing a GOOD (PL 6-8) spirit tribal EDH list had been a pet project for a while. From janky [[Geist of Saint Traft]] lists to [[Chulane]] βOops All Spiritsβ, I never seem to do more beyond being slightly disruptive and MAYBE taking out a player or two.
With millicent, we got a lot of cool upgrades and Iβve already purchased/upgraded the precon but my issue still looms; it lacks explosive plays and finishers. Even with utility like [[God-Pharaohβs Throne]] or [[Mirror Entity]] all the deck seems to do is disrupt a bit and assemble a board of spooky little fliers.
Spirits is for whatever reason, my favorite tribe (maybe I just like tempo?) so Iβm not giving up yet. What do you think the most optimal spirit commander build is now that VOC is out?
So i have seen a lot of chit chat abo about [[Millicent]]. She seems like a rather good Commander for a tribe that hasnt seen any support in EDH doesnt she? One of the weak things spirits have,is that they are generally good for 1v1, playing a tempo style and swinging in the air. But in EDH,that tempo/protection style doesnt perform that well. Millicent adds on the "aggro" style of the tribe by multiplyng your board on attacks, wich seems great. She is also kinda resilient to removal What do you guys think? Will Spirits finnaly get at the level of Humans,Knights and other more or less powerfull tribes,or still be at the low end of the list?Is Millicent the [[Ayula]] bears needed but for Spirits
No advice needed, I know what to do, just failed to engage spine in the moment. But if you have wise words or effective one-liners for me, I won't complain.
MIL is Melancholy Millicent, the religious fanatic enforcer of Grace Before Meals, FauxNews aficionado and all-around right-wing troll.
DH and I went to MM's for Thanksgiving this year, so her house rules apply: sit silently during Grace to be polite, and watch the show which usually consists of eulogy for FIL / pity party for herself, complete with dramatic tears, followed by an abrupt shutoff of the waterworks as she launches into "prayers" (aka shit-talking) about the family member she currently disapproves of, asking for "wisdom" or "guidance" so that that person can overcome their many failings.
I was anxiously awaiting what trollish behavior she would attempt this year and was shocked into silence when she didn't eulogize a single dead person, shit talk anyone, or even throw a pity party!
What she did do, and which I was too gobsmacked to call out in the moment, was erase SIL (DH's sister's same-sex spouse of more than 10 years) from her prayers for blessings on absent family members.
Grrr.
WWJE (Who Would Jesus Exclude)? The gays, apparently.
And I am kicking myself for not speaking up in the moment, but obnoxious behavior gets me tongue-tied sometimes. I'll 100% speak up if she repeats this behavior at Christmas, but she'll probably come up with some other trollish thing by then.
Dammit.
Im on episode 8. I understand he adopted her but didnβt the show say they were only married for like a year? I understand him having some custody of her but I find it weird that it seems like the mom is barely there. Maybe Iβm thinking too hard into this π
Hi everyone! I was making several lists for a Millicent deck, and I'm having a hard time to decide exactly which way to go.
I quite like the base of the deck, but I'm not certain I just want to go just for a go-wide strategy. I really love Rhoda and Timin's theme, but I don't believe that a deck based entirely off of that mechanic would be strong enough. So I was thinking of making it a subtheme in a Millicent deck. How could I make it work best? Is anyone else interested in a similar idea and wants to discuss it? Thanks for any help!

Hello all, just looking for some feedback to increase the power level of my deck and make sure itβs as focused as possible. Aiming for a 7.0 in terms of power, and utilizing some rules from Command Zone like 10 Ramp, 10 Card Draw, etc.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! I really want to make sure the deck curves out well enough!

The fact that both are precon azorius spirit commanders makes them really comparable. Here are both cards:
Millicent, Restless Revenant - 5WU
Legendary Creature - Spirit Soldier
>This spell costs [1] less to cast for each Spirit you control.
>
>Flying
>
>Whenever ~ or another nontoken Spirit you control dies or deals combat damage to a player, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying
>
>4/4
>Ranar, the Ever-Watchful 2WU
>
>Legendary Creature- Spirit Warrior
>
>Flying, Vigilance
>
>The first card you foretell each turn costs 0 to foretell.
>
>Whenever you exile one or more cards from your hand and/or permanents from the battlefield, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying.
I was wondering this today. The way I see it Ranar is harder to get going as a stricktly spirit tribal, because of his exile/foretell focus. Millicent looks more focused on spirits but looks like should work better getting cast after you have a set table, which Ranar could provide. I was thinking of putting Brago too but hes more of a commander that is also a spirit, not a spirit commander.
This week we pulled out all the stops to bring you four brand new commanders from the newly released Crimson Vow set, built to a cEDH level. I'm joined by a group of my regulars from the Discord to hash out who's the best!
