Perhaps this isn't what the sub is used for, but I'd like to try regardless. Back in the day 2005-8 ish, there was an Xbox the gamestore that I lived near, and every time my mother dragged me over I'd just play on it instead of running around the store with her. And there was this Demo on the Xbox 360 that I have a very fond memory of for some reason. It was in a snowed in, mountain setting. And you'd control these robots with weapons on them, You'd go from point A to Point B, and on the way you'd face enemies. And then the demo ended. It sounds a little like Star wars, which is what I came up with after googling for a solid 3 hours. But I do not think it was a star wars game.
As far as I know you couldn't get out of the vehicle that you were in. That's all I have unfortunately, I am very keen on finding out which game this was, if any of you guys know that'd be awesome! Thanks
Has anyone ever bought a tracked vehicle with a robotic arm attached to it? I would like to get a few for academic research, but they need to be industrial grade that can be used by military. I've seen flir/ghost/roboteam etc, but is there anything that's more open/researchy? These folks don't seem to return ing my calls ...
I used to play this game with my brother, it's 3rd person and you go through different missions trying to fulfill objectives. There was a military theme, where you fight against an enemy and have to destroy their convoy trucks, bases, etc. Many of the buildings are destructable and all the missions are timed. There were different mechs to choose from and the one I remember was a bipedal walker-type mech that shot missiles. You could play the game 2-player and beat the story together. From what I remember, all of the mech were gray.
