A list of puns related to "Medium Machine Gun"
The use of tripods for medium and general purpose machine guns is habitual and harped on and trained extensively in garrison, but I have yet to see one used in combat, or even carried.
From personal experience, tripods have very little to no advantage when it comes to the accuracy of a single burst or so out to about 1100m. There are significant advantages to a tripod, but I'm assuming that the comparatively small increase in accuracy has just made them not worth to carry.
If anyone has picture or video evidence, even just personal experience though, I'd really appreciate it.
Introduction
When the Anti-Earth Union Group (βAEUGβ) formed in UC 0085-0086 to oppose the increasingly brutal tactics of the Earth Federation and the Titans, they saw their small GM II force would not defeat a larger army of GM IIs and Hizacks. The AEUG needed something that would have an overwhelming advantage, and turned to Anaheim Electronics for help. Anaheim, having recently acquired several top Zeon mobile suit designers, responded with a design that combined the strengths of the MS-09 Dom series with the well-rounded performance of the RX-78-2 Gundam. Named the βRick Diasβ (with βRickβ being a name given to space-specialized designs), this machine featured all the traits of a true next-generation mobile suit and was the strongest mass produced design of the Gryps War of UC 0087. Its blend of speed and firepower inspired several new designs, including the Dijeh and Hyaku Shiki.
In GBO2, the Rick Dias is a mid-range specialist. It uses high walking speed and a huge weapon list to constantly pelt foes with ranged attacks, only closing in for melee combat when there is a clear advantage in doing so. This guide will teach you how to succeed with all of its equipment!

S0. Playstyle Overview
The Rick Dias is an oddity; it has a maximum attack range of 300 to 350, in a point tier where that is a little low. However, it has the walking speed to stay in its preferred range once it gets there. While its boost speed is merely average for a 500 point MS, the Rick Dias uses several special movement skills (including Forced Injectors and the ability to boost in mid-jump) to compensate for this. Maneuver Armor also helps it get in position, and an improved Tackle lets it take certain risks in melee combat that would be outright suicidal for any other machine.
Once youβre in its ideal range of about 200-300 meters, the Rick Dias uses four different ranged weapons to quickly blast through ta

To be honest its absolute bullshit that I can send 50 rounds down to a sniper and he has no problem blowing my brains out. The point in the MMG is suppression and defence but as soon as you stop to get your bipod down you get skulled because you can't suppress snipers to defend yourself. Kinda takes a lot if the fun away from MMGs.

I've compiled an extensive list of Weapons and equipment used in World War 2. Problem is, I reached the character limit real quick, so I've split the list up into smaller, more in-depth posts. I'll also include pictures in this post since I can include up to 20 photos. I'm doing this because I hear that BFV will have very few weapons, which is inexcusable for a Battlefield title. I'll be showcasing all of the awesome and cool weapons that should be added, which will include Experimental firearms if necessary.
*Special thanks to Forgotten Weapons .com, Modern Firearms and the Numerous other sites I've linked with each weapon.
Since I'm only allowed to post around 20 photos, I've split the HUGE list of weapons up

Further to this: Tanks and IFV have a lot of sensors, optical equipment, etc. If a IFV with 25mm, 30mm or 40mm auto cannon were to pepper the tank with say 4 or 5 rounds wouldn't these hits and explosions destroy all of that "delicate" equipment and make the tank have to "limp back home and be out of the war?
Will medium Machine guns like the M240 series of Machine guns ever be added to the game? If so will they be bipod/prone only?
For those whoβve never seen the M240: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M240_machine_gun
The M240B is one of the most fun weapons Iβve ever been able to shoot (Aside from the M2), and I would love to see it in Tarkov. But how would it be balanced realistically due to the huge size of the weapon and cartridge (7.62x51 out a 12.5 Kg weapon) not many people can fire that from the shoulder or hip. (unless youβre The Mountain) What do yβall think? Does tarkov need bigger guns or should it be kept to LMGs and if so then do we go to .50s next.
