Calculating the sustainable anchor yield

There are daily posts about Anchor's yield reserve. The 19.5% APY is burning up the reserve but noone has seemed to calculate the sustainable rate.

  • Over the last 10 days, the yield reserve has seemed to decrease by about $1m per day.
  • Based on $5.5b in anchor earn, and 19.5 APY - there is $2.7m paid out daily (assuming APY is compounded daily - will edit once I'm corrected)
  • so the sustainable daily payout is about $1.65m
  • and the sustainable APY is 11.6%

11.6% APY would be a good return on my "growth" investment portfolio.

Tool demonstration tour for maximum sales prices and crop yields in fields.

EDIT 01/02/21: A new section has been added to see the size of the field in hectares and acres.

EDIT 12/31/21: Updated the Hectare and Acre Calculator to be more accurate. Although it is still not 100% accurate but a good estimate.

EDIT 12/30/21: Tomorrow before the end of the year we are going to adjust the calculator calculation a little more.

Hello, the year is over and here is this demonstration video of the Farming Simulator 22 tool to see price maximums that started a few weeks ago. I am very happy to share and continue to support the community in what I can. I am grateful for all those people who send me recommendations or suggestions, they are all welcome. This is just the beginning. I hope to continue adding more tools and utilities so that we can enjoy this great simulator even more. Thank you for sharing the web with your friends and have a happy new year.

How are such high yields sustainable?

Im specifically talking about Anchor protocol - they have crazy hight returns - right now around 20%, and guarantee at least 18%. How is this possible. I have seen mention that the income comes from staking your funds in various tokens, but dont most staking rewards decrease as amount staked increases? So over time, wont staking rewards across the board trend down as adoption increases?

Im just incredulous at the claims that you can get 18% forever from something like Anchor. Im worried that if I invest, Ill have to constantly rebalance to the newest thing to get continued high returns. Is this the case? Or is there some magic that Im missing that allows Anchor to sustainably attain 18% APR longterm?

Part 1 of 7

This began as an investigation into the correlations from 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2021 stock market crashed and debt ceiling issues.

It turned into my biggest nightmare and there's no good outcome. Buy Calls on my therapist... $65 strike price...

** This is correction to the title as it should say "Dark Pool Use By Top 4 BANK NOW 61.8 %" for full transparency, but can't edit **

As of 8/1/21 we are entering a new debt ceiling crisis with congress on a 6 week vacation, combined with an expired rent moratorium where 6.2 million renters face evictions, the homeowners of said tenant's houses will likely never receive back-pay for rent owed possibly causing record high bankruptcies akin to 2008 or worse, and without taking this into account, CBO projects a federal budget deficit of $3.0 trillion this year as the economic disruption caused by the 2020–2021 coronavirus pandemic, while the legislation enacted in response continue to boost the deficit (which was large by historical standards even before the pandemic).

In August 2011, during the debt ceiling crisis, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected that the federal budget would show a deficit of close to $1.5 trillion, or 9.8 percent of GDP.

That is nearly 1 percentage point higher than the shortfall recorded in 2010 and almost equal to the deficit posted in 2009, which at 10.0 % of GDP was the highest in nearly 65 years at the time.

At 13.4 % of gross domestic product (GDP), the deficit in 2021 would be the second largest since 1945, exceeded only by the 14.9 % shortfall recorded in 2020.

For the period of economic expansion from the second quarter of 2009 through the fourth quarter of 2019, real GDP increased at an annual rate of 2.3 %.

For the period of economic expansion from the second quarter of 2020 through the first quarter of 2021, real GDP increased at an annual rate of 14.1 %, which in my opinion and as shown below by these reports is due almost entirely to the insanely high level of newly printed money and covid stimulus payments, making it completely artificial, in my opinion w/ proof below**.**

https://www.cbo.gov/publication/21999

The CBO estimates from 2011 would be heaven compared to the reality we're facing, which is a crippled economy and stock market on the verge of collapse. Evidence below;

In 2011 CBO projected the 3 month Treasury bill to be worth 4.4% in 2021.

Between these two scenarios, which will give me the maximum yield?

I just have one jar of colonised grain spawn and planning 1:3 ratio of spawn to substrate.

Should I use a small container & aim for more depth (around 2.5”) or use a comparatively bigger container and get more surface area but lesser depth (around 1.5”) ?

Accordingly to my logic, larger surface area should give more fruits but wondering if they’ll be smaller in size due to the smaller substrate depth.

Maximum Bitcoin/Wrapped Bitcoin Yield?

Im trying to find the best yield for my Bitcoin, obviously some platforms aren't trust worthy but i would like to know what is available out there.

For the past year i have been using Cefi, the usual ones, but have been using Haru invest which using their 'Earn like the best' product, which aims for 25+% has gotten me on average 18.6%. The have released a new product which aims for 35+% but seems very high risk.

When looking around defi there seems to be staking, pooling and farming which offer between 1-20% but payout in rewards of other tokens. Is there anything around that pays in-kind? The closest thing i have found is Tranchess offers 5.6% on Queen or if you invest and lock Chess token 16.2%

What other options are out there i am possibly missing
