I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
Because she wanted to see the task manager.
Does anyone know if there is a feasible bushwhack or trail to be able to get down from Tunnel Ridge Road down to the Martins Fork area?
Theyβre on standbi
Heard they've been doing some shady business.
BamBOO!
Pilot on me!!

Weβre continuing the saga of James Strang today, addressing Jeremyβs various concerns and comments. If you read the prior post, you know that this is a crazy story and Strang was a rather colorful character. Jeremy Runnells, of course, does not go into any of that history or the clear signs of deception, and only focuses on the few similarities between Strang and Joseph Smithβnamely, that he claimed to translate some plates by the power of God and that he had some witnesses for those plates. Weβll go through those similarities and the differences in more detail as we go through Jeremyβs questions/comments.
Jeremy begins:
> James Strang and his claims are fascinating. He was basically Joseph Smith 2.0 β but with a twist.
I do actually partially agree with Jeremy on this: James Strangβs story is somewhat fascinating to me. Itβs full of bizarre twists and turns, conspiracies, and one unexpected event after another. Iβm not gonna lie, I read that biography rather quickly. It was all so absurd, I couldnβt put it down. I do not, however, agree that he is much at all like Joseph Smith, and he certainly isnβt Version 2.0. His βtwistβ is that he was pretty clearly (to me, at least) a fraud.
> Like Joseph, Strang did the following:
> - Claimed that he was visited by an angel who reserved plates for him to translate into the word of God. βThe record which was sealed from my servant Joseph. Unto thee it is reserved.β > - Received the βUrim and Thummimβ. > - Produced 11 witnesses who testified that they too had seen and inspected ancient metal plates. > - Introduced new scripture. After unearthing the plates (the same plates as Laban from whom Nephi took the brass plates in Jerusalem), Strang translated it into scripture called the β[Book of the Law of the Lord](https://en.wikipedia

Phaedra is in Washington for the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March, and since they are going to be discussing Save Our Sons there, she invites Kim Fields and Sheree, both of who have sons themselves. Porsha is also invited - probably needing to learn there are more than 265 days in a year and the underground railroad was indeed not an actual railroad.
They meet with congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, who is wearing a bedazzled fourth of July cowboy hat and an American bow tie necklace. She talks to the housewives about the reality for black boys and men in America, and that "people really don't like African-American boys." It's heartbreaking. Kim Fields thinks that these subjects are much too heavy for her sons, especially Sebastian, her eight-year-old. Phaedra is upset, and says she doesn't have the option of "sugarcoating reality to her sons."
The old lady gang is excited about the restaurant idea that Kandi and Todd have, but they don't want ot be cooking or working, just wanting to be the face of the place.
Kenya talks to her aunt Lori about her mom refusing to open the door for her last week, and why Lori left the reunion early. Lori is upset with Kenya, as she got a call from her sister asking Kenya to leave her alone, and Lori thinks that her sister has every right to not have contact with Kenya, now and since she gave her up as a baby.
Nene makes an appearance and says the queen is back.

In my opinion, this is one of the best series premieres in the housewives universe, as we learn so much about the women and they bring the drama.
Meeting the women within the affluent suburb within Maryland and just outside of D.C, we meet Katie, Charisse, Gizelle, Robyn, Ashley and Katie!
Gizelle starts off telling us she is not only a legacy but a pedigree, and that Karen just grew up on a farm. She was married to a pastor, but he couldn't be monogamous, so she and her three daughters are doing just fine on their own!
Karen believes herself to be the complete leader, and is very proud of marrying the "black Bill Gates".
Katie introduces herself as someone who is desperate to get married, her boyfriend is a wonderful dad to her kids from a previous relationship, and pressure
