Hi y'all! I've been discussing future kid names with my partner, and usually we have pretty different taste in girl names. I like strong, short, modern names like Quinn, Luna, and Mia, while he usually likes more classic names.
Recently he brought up the name "Marceline" because he's a big Disney fan, and he likes the connection to Walt Disney's hometown as well as the candy store in Downtown Disney. I think this association is cute, but I feel like Marceline might be too much of a mouthful, and sound too... flouncy and fancy. I really like the nickname Marci, but I think then I could just name my kid Marci.
What are your thoughts on Marceline? Do you have any associations with the name, or any impressions upon hearing it? I'd love to know!
