But I’m just not ready to cross those bridges.
I'll be sitting in the passenger seat. Perhaps on my phone. My dad will point out to the street and say 'Hey'. Naturally this gets my attention. I usually respond with 'What?' He wont answer. I'll look over and he'll be pointing at a Truck transporting a large number of bales of hay. I look at him. Smuggest look of satisfaction on his face.
Edit: I can't spell. I'm like a clam Edit 2:http://i.imgur.com/mTme2Jo.jpg
She responded: ”I no chiwwy, I Madison.”
I almost died choking on pancake. I don’t think I’ve fully recovered.
... I asked a family in front of me, "So, what brought you to Madison?" The dad quickly said, "The airplane."
So the joke goes "You know, James Madison was a naturalist. A lot of people don't know that. He really loved the environment and care a lot about wildlife. In fact, he tried to put protecting wildlife into the bill of rights, but a lot of people don't know that he was dyslexic too. So when he was writing the 2nd amendment he wrote the right to bear arms, but what he meant was the right to arm bears!"
Just went on a tour of revolutionary battlegrounds (truly amazing if you ever get the chance) and that joke was told in excess of 50 times, no exaggeration.
For those too lazy to click:
Dad posts a picture on my Facebook timeline that says, "MADISON NGUYEN FOR SAN JOSE MAYOR." His caption reads, "If Madison takes the election, it will be a Nguyen-win situation."
Sister comments: "Ugh."
Mom comments: "Double ugh!!!"
I comment: "Nguyen pho mayor!"
My friend is having a daughter soon and has yet to come up with a name, so she made the mistake of asking for suggestions. I need help coming up with some great pun names to suggest to her. Some notes:
Her last name is Bridges.
As I said, it's a girl (so something like "London" is out).
I've already thought of Madison and Brooklyn.
