Lolo Puns

A friend of mine and I were coming out of a side road off Lolo pass this evening after some backcountry/cross-country skiing and wound up winching out a moving truck and turning several drivers around.

Apple Maps had told several of them that Lolo pass was a viable alternative to going around the mountain the other ways (Hwy26/I-84) - it isn't. Even if the gate were open, there is >8' of snow on that road and it is absolutely impassible.

So if you, or anyone you know anyone thinking about going that way, please don't. :)

We saw Lolo Jones in the international lounge at the Atlanta airport on Xmas. At first I just noticed a really athletic woman in a tank top and sweat pants -- her arms and shoulders are amazing! Then I recognized her. She took her mask off later while drinking and put on a Team USA jacket, it was definitely her. Didn't bother her as she was already talking to a guy who seemed to be a fan. She was very friendly with him and she was gorgeous. Unmistakably an athlete. Really funny bc the last time I traveled with my husband, in September, we saw Wes on our flight. Gotta say, Lolo in the posh lounge traveling internationally seems more my style than Wes in coach going to Des Moines to see Slipknot, haha.
