A list of puns related to "Ouyang"
I just started she who became the sun today, and I love the relationship between Ouyang and Esen. I know this isn't a romance novel, but before buying this, I was aware there was *some* romance. I haven't seen much about the book, let alone these characters, and I need to talk abt it.
The way Ouyang describes Esen is like pure adoration for him, even though his family is the one that made him a eunuch. And as for Esen, he treasures Ouyang, enough to take punishment on his behalf. I've seen some discussions of Zhu and Xu Da's ship, but it seems quite underdeveloped to me. Tbh I'm only about 200 pages in and don't know if they have any more interactions. I hope they do, I really liked when they were still novices in the monastery and how Xu Da took care of Zhu, and silently protected Zhu from being found out that she was a girl. I enjoy Ouyang and Esen's relationship a lot more though, maybe because I enjoy Ouyang's character and his relationship, platonic or not, with Esen. I wouldn't mind not seeing a romantic relationship between them, but I do love them together and wish more ppl would talk abt it.
*edit*
I got to the point of Zhu and Xu Da's reunion, and they're so... so incredible.
Per her RMP reviews, ppl just rate her low due to the topics and not her teaching style. They say though that she is very harsh with deadlines and HW's are very hard
My question is: Anyone that has taken her, is this true? And would you recommend me take this course with her?
Alright , alright. So I LOVE theory crafting. And Ouyangโs similarity to Thirteen (design-wise) had me wondering if they could be related. It took me a bit to think of this, but I finally got a theory that could kinda make sense.
We know that 13 and 11 donโt have the same mom. We also know that their little brother also has a different mom. My theory is that the Plum Blossom Swordsman was struggling so hard to find a woman to give him sons that he intentionally courted women who have had sons before in an effort to raise his chances of getting one. So I think that Ouyang could be 13โs half brother on her momโs side.
Another supporting point is that she left the estate with 13 stating โIโm not sure if we were kicked out or if she left by choice.โ If she left by choice, she had to have known what type of danger they were in and meant to go somewhere safe. And that somewhere safe couldโve been with the Thumbs Up Kung fu master.
***I doubt this will actually play out in the show since I donโt see how them being related could advance the plot in any way. It was just fun trying to tie them together.
I will admit that the Plum Blossom Swordsman being a giant hoe could mean that anyone could be related to 13 though, and Iโll admit design similarities donโt really mean anything since 11 and 13 donโt even look alike in adulthood. ***
I've been practicing Chinese calligraphy for a year and a half now, but only until roughly a month ago do I realize the right path to practice. Since then I started to practice Ouyang Xun's Regular Script, because it feels neat to me, with elegant and balanced strokes and structure. I would like to share my journey with you guys!
This was one of my early practice sheets back in middle 2020. Not really neat, is it?
This was my work a few months ago (3rd lunar month this year)
This was when I started to practice Ouyang's style back in 30 July. Everything's difficult at first!
