It's the wrong colour scheme for the film, its an action film, and he's only in a casino very briefly. It barely even looks like Timothy Dalton, more like a weird PS4 game version of him. I've noticed this more and more with blu ray releases that the cover designs are shit. Why can't they just use the original posters?

Watching the Bond marathon on Epix. At the end of Licence to kill in the tanker chase scene, one of the truck drivers looks a LOT like Cheech Marin. Can't find it mentioned anywhere. Is it him?
I've seen Licence to Kill a few times, so none of this is new to me, but after five or six viewings, I think we all tend to pick up things that we might have overlooked before. A couple things that stuck out after this viewing.
- I really wish Dario hadn't gotten his ass kicked in the bar fight. I love Benicio del Toro as an actor, and I think he does a great job of making Dario look menacing and intimidating. But when the chips were down, he got his clock cleaned by both Bond and Pam. I think the director made a bad choice there. Dario would have been a much better henchman if he had held his own in that scene. Instead, Bond and Pam made it look rather easy. Imagine if Bond had bested Oddjob early in the movie Goldfinger. The showdown at Fort Knox would have been devoid of any kind of tension because Bond winning would have been a foregone conclusion. Been there, done that sort of a thing.
- Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier is surprisingly stunning. What I mean by that is she doesn't have that "jaw hit the floor" kind of sexiness that some of the other Bond girls have. She has an understated beauty, which I find refreshing. I think Bond made a good decision by choosing her over Lupe Lamora. Besides, the double take that Bond does when he sees Pam in the shorter hair and the new clothes is one of the best moments of the movie. It would have been a shame if they hadn't ended up together after that.
- The post-climax endings in both of Dalton's movies are two of the best in the whole franchise. In most of the films, after the big bad is disposed, Bond is casually shagging his love interest in what feels like a last hurrah. Dalton's Bond comes across as more of an old-fashioned romantic than either Connery or Moore, and you almost get the feeling that he might end up with the girl he's with. For me, that was the feeling I had at the end of TLD with Kara and also at the end of LTK with Pam. Dalton has genuine chemistry with both of his love interests, and I'm left wanting to see more. The opposite, however, is true with Craig and Lea Seydoux's Madeleine Swann. I know it's been mentioned on this sub before, but those two just don't have any chemistry. I don't feel/sense the romance between those two. Anyway, Dalton did a great job of connecting with his two female leads, and the endings to both of his movies just hammered that home.

Some interesting behind the scenes info from Alan Church (Assistant to Maurice Binder) on the shooting of the title sequence for the film. Including some footage shot on the set too, never before seen as it’d come from his personal library.
Interesting stuff, wondering if anyone else from the James Bond subreddit made the pilgrimage to the PCC?
