A list of puns related to "Liang Dynasty"
Dynasty Warriors and ROTK by Koei made it seem like Zhuge groomed him to become the next Chancellor. But afaik after Zhuge's death, other people such as Jiang Wan and Fei Yi were the ones who succeeded Zhuge as chancellor of Shu Han.
So what was really the dynamic between Zhuge and Jiang?

Vol. 5 of the Lunyu Yishu, a commentary of the Analects compiled by a Confucian Scholar named Huang Kan from the Liang Dynasty (502-557). It is a scroll made up of 20 sheets of paper. Manuscripts of this commentary was classified as lost in the 12th century. According to some searching on Wikipedia and other journals, copies of this work emerged from Mogao/Dunhuang Caves.
Diplomatic trips between Sui and Tang China with Japan is how the manuscript got imported. It was with the Fujiwara clan during the Nara/Heian period, catalogued during the Edo Period and got lost til it was found 3 years ago in an antique bookshop, and was studied over the past few years by Keio University.

I wonder if women actually took part in combat during the North and South period in Chinese history. I'm also wondering what kind of weapons they used, and if women in the Liang Dynasty used weapons that were different from other parts of China.
So the imperial family of Liang and the imperial family of Southern Qi were both the Xiao clan, right? Liang Wudi's father, i.e., Xiao Shunzhi, for example, was a relative of Qi Gaodi, i.e., Xiao Daocheng.
Does any one know why Liang Wudi bothered to change the name of the empire when he came to the throne? I can't think of a similar case in Chinese history, although it may just be my ignorance.
I looked around online while researching what other tier list makers and speed runners thought of Zhuge Liang, but there weren't many opinions on him. So I decided to try some builds on my own and report my findings to whomever may want to read. So here you go.
Zhuge Liang is, unfortunately, weak. Very weak. He is ranked one of the lowest tier members of the cast. For all his genius intellect, the Sleeping dragon is unfortunately not a very good fighter. The problems exist in many places. His moveset is very frontal (not as frontal as Liu Shan and Yuan Shao), but unlike those two he is significantly less effective at taking down a single opponent. Zhuge Liang struggles to fight an officer one vs one, with slow-ish attacks that have low mobility, no penetration with Cyclone (only his C6 activates elemental, and only once), and low combo counts for Flurry to boost damage. He is a character who lacks raw power: weak musous, weak attacks, no particular advantages gained from switch attack, no self buffs. The upside of his normal string attacks is they have a bit of range, like Sima Yi's. He doesn't compare at all to his rival in combat stats.
Weapon: Flurry - Frenzy - Induction - Explosive - Velocity - Jubilation
(Optional Fury, Triumph, Gale, Battleaxe if you like)
Accuracy, musou, attack, mighty roar
So how does Zhuge Liang work for me, is I use a Physical damage weapon, and make the most out of his switch attack (invincible during the attack) and C1, which makes a tornado that stuns and does some good chip damage. With two of these weapons, spam a bunch of switch attack in a crowd, or C1 against an enemy officer. This racks up some nice combo, and fills musou and rage well enough. While the officer is stunned by C1, proceed to N5-C6 them, under rage if necessary. His C6 is long ranged and the only charge attack that does good enough damage. C6 EX is... Idk, I don't know what's up with it. C3 stuns but doesn't break guard, C3 EX ignores guard and sends the enemy into the air.
Explosive and Induction work together with Accuracy. Frenzy can be replaced with Roar if you want more Musou filling for defensive purposes. Triumph is there to help filling rage, which you need for tougher officers.
Zhuge Liang's jump charge is actually reasonably strong, with some practice at aiming it, you can use it to finish off people, kite enemies etc.
If you must use a musou, regular musou for defence. R1 musou is roaming, continues after you leave the mus

After the great flood the people that are now citizens of the Nan Liang Dyasty banded together and designed their country to honor their ancestors. In all adaptions of Romance of The Three Kingdoms, there are two things that are consistant about Zhuge Liange: His beard and the feathered fan he carries.
Due to the heat and humidity of Wu*, Zhuge Liange would fan himself an abnormal ammount of time (supposedly to keep his head cool, if you believe Zhuge in John Woo's Red Cliff movie). All this fanning had the adverse effect of giving Zhuge Liange's fanning arm super-strength (or just regular strength since he wasn't that strong in the first place).
By the time of the battle Zhuge Liang's fanning strength was sufficient to reverse the direction of the wind so long as he focused on fanning up till Wu launched their fire-attack.
* Which is in the south of China.
