A hero is one who did extraordinarily significant things for somebody or the world. There are lots of respectable heroes at all times and in all places. Talking about two heroes who are the greatest of their time. Zhuge Liang is the most respectful person during his time. He was a loyal and🦓🦌 capable minister externally trying to help his kingdom to resist other kingdoms'  attacks.  You know the feeling of 'we have a warrior'🐿

Another personality is Zhang Fei. Zhang Fei was an intrepid general of the Shu kingdom. During the Han dynasty, there were three 👘kingdoms at war, the Shu, the Wei, and the Wu. The war caused vast chaos, but Zhang Fei dreamt of a land full of peace. He wanted to be able to restore peace to the land. Zhang Fei ❌ strength was much like a dictator who was hated by all three kingdoms he was also cruel and wouldn't hesitate to punish insubordination with beatings or the death penalty. That sounds ruthless, right?  What attributes will you be focusing on to make your hero the strongest in all the kingdoms? 💪

Did Zhuge Liang really ambush Sima Yi with fire and did sudden rain really save Sima Yi? and i mean historically,not in the Romance

In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang is presented as a genius. This is of course overstated for literary purposes, but Zhuge Liang was indeed in RL an important historical figure.

My question is how he would compare with Western generals such as Caesar or Alexander.

Note: not asking if he could 'beat' them (such questions usually are exercises in futility) but rather a comparison in terms of tactics, strategy and competence as a military commander.

Imagine being captured continuously (as much as seven times)  just so you could be taught a lesson. 👩‍🏫This was how Zhuge Liang won over Meng Huo😌

During one of his conquests, he captured Meng Huo who was a commander👑 of the southern troops.  In a bid to make peace within both regions. Zhuge Liang decided to convince his captive to surrender voluntarily.🏳 Though there were cries for him to execute Meng Huo.🗡 he instead gave room for Meng Huo to observe his military command.💬 Meng Huo concluded that if he was released, he would defeat Zhunge Liang in battle.⚔️🔥 After being released, he took his troop to battle against Zhuge Liang and was captured again. He requested another opportunity and was given freedom again. This occurred 7 times.🤨

After the 7th time of capture, Meng Huo had no interest in going to battle against Zhuge Lian and instead admitted his defeat😮‍💨 and pledged his allegiance he said  “The Prime Minister has captured and subsequently released me seven times. You are so generous that I respect you from the bottom of my heart. From now on, I dare not to fight the State of Shu any longer.”  👍🏻

This story teaches us that we can win over people by persevering. Zhuge Liang could have killed him at any point in time during the 7 captures but decided to convince him by playing the long game.🤝

While looking through an old blog (from my country) on 3K, the writer noted that there were divisions between the two factions and that Zhuge Liang's dismissal of Li Yan "raised doubts to some modern scholars on the evaluation of Zhuge Liang’s morality" and "remains controversial till today." Is this true?

I knew the Yi Faction got more discontent as the failure of the Jiang Wei's Northern expeditions continued, which wore down state resources considerably, especially since Liu Bei had died some time ago and the old generation started to die off. However I thought that Li Yan was dismissed from the logistics failure in one of ZGL's expeditions, I didn't know that there were morality questions about the power struggle among modern scholars and I certainly didn't know Liu Bei wanted Li Yan to be the head of military matters. So I was thinking about how costume dresses give servants new looks and battle voice lines, and maybe DW could implement that into Waver to have a skin with true Zhuge Liang in full control and appearance? This is if they don't want to make a whole different servant.

This lets people have Zhuge Liang without having to roll for a new servant, and people that are used to Waver can keep it that way. Room dialogues would also have to be changed, but I think it's possible.

The only downside I can think of rn is salty CN players.

*Edit: To clarify, I don't blame CN players for possibly protesting this. I'm sympathizing with them because if this ever happened it would be censored by their government.

Hi, wondering if anyone knows where I can buy Zhuge Liang's hat online that has good build quality?

Maybe one that is "authentic" or one that is very similar to the 2010 TV series. For a friend that's a fan.

This is something I often heard from anti-Shu-Han or Cao Cao fanboy(From small part of RoTK community in Thailand). These people often said Zhuge Liang was evil for conquering Shu and then invading the north repeatedly, thus causing many death to people of Shu. These people also often said if Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang never came to power, many countless lives in Shu would been saved.

So, I want to ask you guy, Was Zhuge Liang really evil for invading Wei. Should the death of Shu’s soldiers, who died while on the Northern expedition, be blame on Zhuge Liang?

As for my answer. It’s a turbulent period, man. We can’t use our peaceful time’s moral standards to judge people who was living during the turbulent period. Sure, what Zhuge Liang did was evil, but it was evil for today standard. During TK period, Zhuge Liang had no power to prevent the war from coming to Shu. Someday, Wei gonna inevitably invaded Shu and slaughtered the people in Shu for spoils of war. IMO, He was sending 100,000 Shu soldiers to died in Wei, in order to protect the rest in Shu. It was better to fight on enemy’s soil than his own kingdom’s soil.

Some people might said why didn’t he just focusing develop his own kingdom? And I think because he was at war and couldn’t afford a peace. Do they think Wei was gonna let Shu develop itself until it surpassed Wei? For me, no, I don’t think so. What I think is Wei would try to weaken Shu by invading it repeatedly, so Shu couldn’t focusing on development. Wei would force Shu to focus on fighting them instead. Or they could sent spy to sabotage the development.

So, when these anti-Shu said Zhuge Liang wasting lives for nothing but his and Liu Bei’s ambitions, I feel strongly disagree. No matter what happened, war would come to Shu and took the lives of people there anyway. If Liu Bei didn’t take Shu from Liu Zhang, Cao Cao would come and slaughter people of Shu like he usually do. If Zhuge Liang didn’t send his soldiers to died in the expeditions to the north, Wei would send its expedition to Shu anyway and kill many Shu soldiers anyway.

And I want to have a little rant about Cao Cao fanboy here. I, myself is a Cao Cao fanboy. I read RoTK because of Cao Cao, and Cao Cao will always be my fav hero from China, but I will never see him as a saint. Sure, he was very talented and was a perfect leader for chaotic time, but he was a bloodthirsty man who would slaughter thousands of people for his own gain. And the problem with Cao Cao fanboy, I don’t
