Hi all,
I grew up in Squam and remember going to Levett lake a lot as a child, but back then the road was super rocky and in places almost unpassable. I was wondering if it is still like that, or if the last decade of increasing car traffic has beaten it down a bit. I have a commuter car and I don't want to overcommit with it.

Backstory
Born and raised in Quebec, Jacques was born to Christine Levett and Timor. He's the youngest child in the whole Levett family and he was also the only one to have a godly parentage. Growing up in that household, his 'father' and he never knew about his actual lineage until on his mother's deathbed when she admitted to the brief affair. Jean Levett was a kind and patient man, but after learning that his wife had betrayed him in such a way, he stayed silent and sat by her bedside until she passed to the other side. The first signs of his father's temper and grief came in the next few months. His attitude to Jacques changed entirely, no longer treating him as one of the family. It would seem that whenever Jean Levett looked at the youngest member of their family, he could only see the proof of his wife's betrayal. So perhaps, in a show of mercy or even as a show of restraint, he told Jacques to pack up all his things one day and sent him packing to a boarding school on the other side of the country. Far from home and not really knowing anyone there, Jacques tried to make the most of it. Completing his work on time, doing homework and assignments on schedule, maintaining a good average grade, getting a job... But none of it really seemed to matter.
It took him two years to realise that in the wake of his mother's confession he was no longer considered a part of the Levett family household. So he made the decision to leave. On the day of his eighteenth birthday, he took the train home as per usual and once there he packed up the remainder of his things. As he was going through his things, he found a letter written by his mother before her death, it told him about a camp for people like him where he might be safe and accepted for who he was.
