A list of puns related to "Kuan"
As the title says, I remember I was watching the television and saw this low quality video of the interview. It was damn awkward like there were many long pauses and the atmosphere was very tense. I canโt for the life of me find anything related to this on the internet.
Xiaoting has become my main bias, and I can't help but to wonder if she is planning on going back to China to promote once her contract ends.
Considering she will be 25 years old when her contract ends, re-debuting in Korea may not necessarily easy for her since age is such an important factor for female idols for reasons I don't understand.
I'm hoping Wake One will sign a contract with her again and have her re-debut with Chaehyun in a new group.
I grow up in China and I have heard a lot of tales about Buddhism and one of them is: in Tang Dynasty, women canโt pray to a male presenting deity so for the sake of female Buddhists at the time Kuan Yin transformed herself into a woman presenting deity. Iโm a transgender man and when I was first time heard about this tale (I was like 10) I wasnโt really a Buddhist. I accept the teaching of Buddha at 20 and every time I think about this tale Iโm always amazed. But is the tale true or its something else? Either way she is amazing and I follow her teaching deep from my heart
Hey y'all its Paula Deen...
So, I was cooking up my next god concept (at first I wanted to make a Celtic assassin that can go through walls but well, we all know how that turned out) So I have another concept for an assassin of an underrepresented/new pantheon, and it would be a magic assassin, but I think Ao is our only one? Dong get me wrong, Athena with poly will fuck you up, but I mean a proper mage not a guardian repurposed as jungler? I'd think the closest is He Bo but he can be played mid. Haven't seen much Ao mid, even with the reworked stone. So, did Hi-rez give a reason for the lack of new magical assassins, or is it just how it turned out? As in close combat assassin and all that jazz, but y'all get it, you're smart!
PS: cause I know how some of you are, I'm not saying I had the idea first and boo hoo just a coincidence don't u/me
Hi! I recently got "Ten Ren's" Ti Kuan Yin, and it really wasn't what I was expecting. From my knowledge, Ti Kuan Yin is a greener oolong with a floral, nutty taste, but the one I purchased looks overly roasted. It's leaves are dark red-brown. To be fair, 6oz was only $7.99 from my local Asian market. Generally even cheaper loose leaves tend to taste better than bags, but in this case when I brewed it, it just tasted overly roasted or almost burned. None of the vegetal or floral notes I had hoped for. I brewed 10oz/300mL with boiling water & 3g of tea for about 4 minutes, and the flavor wasn't very pronounced. Instead of getting stronger with time, it took on a more tin-like taste. Any recommendations on how to brew this tea or at least make it palatable?
I tried making a stronger brew with 1.5tbsp tea for 8oz/240mL water and added 80mL of milk to make a milk tea, but it didn't have much flavor, so I let the tea leaves sit for a couple minutes with the milk. Somehow it got even worse and that same burned tin flavor returned.
I will be trying a (hopefully better) Ti Kuan Yin sample from Adagio soon, but I still want to try to enjoy the tea I bought. Please help! :(
