The UASR intends to continue its efforts to develop northwest Zambia and northeast Angola with the overt motive of demonstrating how the Union's decentralized farming-based economic model can be used to rapidly develop new areas, it having previously been judged that the cost of making an impact in urban western Angola would be too high.
The hydroelectric dam, inland fisheries, link to the Transcontinental Railroad, and state resorts had transformed Cazombo, Angola into a viable city to experience sustained growth, and there was a great desire by all interested parties in somehow expanding this economically active zone even further to encompass the greater triborder region between Zambia, Angola, and the Congo.
In the aftermath of China emerging onto the geopolitical scene by forcing the will of the ECA with its economic leverage, the UASR had reached an agreement with its allies to continue trade with the ECA using the Congo as an intermediary.
The existing border city of Kaluba-Kabila on the Congo-Zambia border - where a joint industrial complex has been created for small aircraft research and manufacture - proved the most immediately useful for this purpose, and the Special Economic Zone has been expanded to allow for the hosting of Congolese transportation shell companies with whom relations could be established by states friendly to the UASR. But its location in the deep interior of the continent raises the need for a more practical option.
To satisfy both of these interests at the same time, the Kasai River SEZ has been created
Between the border cities of Luau, Angola and Bilolo, Congo an extraterritorial Special Economic Zone will be created straddling the Kasai River. As with the existing SEZ's in Beira, Tete, and Kaluba-Kabila, Kasai River SEZ will not be subject to the minimum 51% worker ownership clause of the UASR.
This makes the SEZ an ideal target for investments from foreign nations who wish to maintain control over their projects, and Kasai aspires to be the most attractive of them all. Nigeria's lack of reception to the NANC project has seemingly indicated they do not care to defend Lagos as the single major financial center on the continent, and as such Kasai will offer banking secrecy services:
- Kasai will be required to report income generated in the UASR, Angola, the Congo, and in ECA nations to the appropriate domestic authorities, and companies incorporated in Kas

The reason Nipponese armor is woven from scale and silk rather than forged from plate can be attributed solely to garasu. it is more likely to shatter than deform and smiths find that working it into small plates is the only way to produce a reliable armor from it. In the case of swords, a softer steel spine will be used to brace the garasu edge. This gives Nipponese katanas both their unique curved shape, and their infamous dual coloration.

At the late October, the director of Marine Stewardship Council - MSC, Ishii Kozo, made a speech about the awareness of Japanese people about the seafood sustainability. From 2018 to 2020 the rate has grown from 12% to 19% of the Japan population.
The director mentioned many reasons for that and one of those is the nomination of Tanaka Naoki as MSC ambassador in 2018. Tanaka as a popular Yoshimoto comedian, who's also very known for loving animals, made the MSC goal more close to the people.
I really proud of him and glad that his influence is making Japanese people think more about the environment, which is a happy fact by it's own. Tanaka has a power that's growing even more.
For situate everyone, MSC is an international non-profit organisation which focus in the sustainable consumption of seafood. The goal is enjoy seafood without damaging the ocean lifes with overfishing, wasting or poluition for example. MSC certifies with the blue label the products which has made avoiding the issues mentioned before.

To those of you who have visited japan this may not be new info but... Anyway, as you may know, during the series, most of the antagonists who arrive from any of the neighbouring towns to wage gang war on Onizuka & Co refer to the place where the protagonists live as Shonan. However, there's no city named Shonan, since that's actually the name of the entire region of which the very aforementioned neighbouring cities form part of. Using a couple named locations (Tsujido, enoshima, Kasai river) as leads from where to search for a possible real life location that could match the description of the story's main location I learnt that the city where most of the story takes place is named Fujisawa.
Wanna bet the reason the city is never mentioned by name even thoguh most of the other neighbouring cities from the shonan region (Kamakura, Iratsuka, Yokosuka) are named several times throughout the story is because he didnt want people to go "he went and picked the city he's namesakes with"?
