A list of puns related to "Idiosyncratic"
Theyβre trying to take the gunpowder away from retail after GME sneeze in January, before everyone realizes and accepts itβs the fuel and always has been.
FINRA is considering tighter regulations around options trading
>The increased engagement is attracting the attention of regulators like the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Wall Street's self-regulatory arm is considering whether changes to the options rules may be warranted, including regulations around options account approvals, supervision and margin requirements. FINRA's request for comment will be published in the coming weeks to solicit insight from exchanges and brokers about options trading and the risks involved.
Why they consider a move:
Do you need the protection from FINRA?
Still donβt believe options activity was responsible for the run in January? I donβt see any proposed rule changes about DRSing shares that are βgoing to cause the MOASSβ.
But I can tell you what they are doing. Trying to remove retails access to options trading.
I wonder why
WTF is this subreddit about? Of the most recent posts here like 60% are just American propaganda about their next target for invasion. Then there's 20% that are explicitly about random bullshit happening somewhere in America.
Now all of the most recent posts are about North Korea?
One of the people that submits only irrelevant bullshit from American propaganda to this subreddit was recently in the comments laughably justifying the irrelevant spam by telling others to pay less attention to Western/American media, and that they were just sharing something about elsewhere. Even though what they were sharing is on every single US politics sub, every single subreddit about China, every US TV station, and anywhere on the internet where liberals and right-wingers could conceivably spread misinformation to an uncritical audience.
I'm already subbed to two dozen US politics subs, twenty subs that already spam propaganda about war with China hundreds of times a day, and every subreddit about NK that isn't exclusively about how desperately Americans want to kill them.
If people want to read your CIA propaganda about how bad those evil commies are, they can go to literally any of a thousand subreddits about American politics or where the military-industrial complex intends to kill people next.
I really thought this would just be a hate-free subreddit to discuss Republic of Ireland instead of just another sub to share every single article about what some redneck in Rio Rancho thinks about the Muslims in China.
Feel like I'm not getting the Return On Investment for my subscription here. Sincerely, Really Over It.
GG also only talked about looking into one stock.
DFV only talked about one stock.
MSM have only kept one stock out of the news cycle or when discussed it's discussed only negatively.
I know it, you know it.
It's GME
All other "memestonks" are distractions with weak/shill leadership and even weaker fundementals.
This is why we do not discuss them or post screenshots with them. It's super simple.
GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME, GME
Buy and hold GME.
Edit: David Lauer has bought GME.

Some bees in bonnets below. Pop po out in force for some reason, on a GME sub, from accounts with no GME post history. Goes to show ya folks
Edit 2: There appears to be brigading happening in the comments! Remember apes, don't touch the poop and upvote your mates!
Edit 3: sticky floor folks need to chill. No one even mentioned y'all and suddenly theres a bunch of people defending them by name. Doesn't seem sus at all...
Some serious aggression coming out. GME apes being polite and as awesome as ever, love you guys :) <3
Those that hold both: hope they both pay off for you. I'm just stating facts
Edit 4: wow a lot have come out of the woodwork saying suspiciously similar things. Very similar things infact! Almost scripted....
Edit 5: Got my first ever suicide prevention message. Thanks guys :) x
Edit 6: I want to be clear: I hope everyone makes some bank. Fact is fundamentally GME is the only real play if: you want an awesome company, want a great leader and team, want to stick it to the man, and want to actually invest in a company and not only bet a squeeze. My 2 pennies :)
If you believe a stock is a memestock that's on you. I don't believe GME is a "memestock" by any stretch other than it's popular.
GME is the stock!
Edit: Ight imma head out, it's been good seeing some of the discussion here and it's clear the very FUD referred to in this article was successful in shaping the views of some of the commentors. THAT is how successful the fud campaigns were, 5 years later people still have their heads way way up their asses. I'd love to bicker with you guys but I literally sold everything and went all in on GME so now I live in a tent in the woods and I cant reasonably source my responses on my phone. Since some people are saying im shilling I will just say, not my financial advice, but if I owned any BCH I would sell it for GME in a heartbeat. Don't play the fool.
TL;DR Bitcoin Cash(BCH) was suppressed and manipulated with the same tactics that are now used against GME, as BCH posed an incredible threat to legacy FIAT/world banks/governmental control of currency. When the price skyrocketed from $300 to $9500 in the last two months of 2017, trading was halted on the two major exchanges which had just recently added it, both of which are owned by the same company, Coinbase, due to a supposed "bug" on coinbase's end. "They" won that war. They won't win this one and the difference is us, the apes.
Hi apes, I'm a holder since May, pretty much all-in, and there's something I've been wanting to talk about/spread awareness of, that few apes (or few people at all) are aware of. I refer to the history of Bitcoin Cash(BCH) and how its soaring price was halted in Dec.2017 in virtually the same fashion as GME was in January. The price went so high in such a short time they actually cleared the trades from their books so that the graph wouldn't represent the event. This event was highly manipulated with astroturf (now known as FUD), and Coinbase is effectively our Robinghood. The corruption and manipulation I witnessed during the Bitcoin Cash hardfork is what made me lose faith in the true dream and purpose of cryptocurrency (financial liberation).
In 2017 Bitcoin(BTC) was in trouble. It had gained popularity and traction so fast that its inability to scale had caught up with it. With the amount of people using BTC, blocks were now too small. Too many transactions trying to fit into the same block = cost of transaction goes up, time to complete transaction goes up. Bitcoin had grown astronomically in a short time, and unless it changed it was rapidly becoming useless for p2p exchange. T
... keep reading on reddit β‘After Casa Amor, she thought she had it worse than Lexi, whose man actually DID NOT choose her. After the new girls came in, she thought she had it worse than Jess, who had a legit relationship with her partner. And now Noah is deciding between her and Jade, and she's STILL woe-is-me?!? The only time I've seen her happy is when she declared it "Courtney Island," after which she quickly threw herself into the depths of despair again. I'm fed up.
Now, disclaimer: I try not to read spoilers, etc, so I could be completely out of line and be pleasantly surprised.
But, RIGHT NOW, IN THIS MINUTE, she is annoying AF with all her complaints. She needs a little perspective. And empathy. And, obviously, maturity.
Edit: spelling
I reinstated it this morning, but still having extreme anxiety and feel like Iβm going to die or have a seizure or something. I got a taper prescription from the ER, but Iβm terrified my brain is going to get damaged from exitotoxicity or something. I have my 1st day of my semester tomorrow and Iβm worried everything is going to be fucked up. If it werenβt for an amazing boyfriend and best friends, I probably would have threw myself into traffic or jumped off a roof to escape the pain. I vomited all night and feel like a fucking loser for this and every bad thing I did in 2020-21 to get here. I donβt know if I just fried my brain and Iβm so fucking scared right now, I donβt want to die this way.
I donβt know where to get professional help with this omicron bullshit sweeping the nation.
Iβm not good at memes but honestly I think itβs a good way to expose people to the fact we are looking at the biggest potential theft in history.
My broker is literally telling me they wonβt lose my shares unless βhighly unlikely riskβ. Then SEC and all of finance saying this is THE idiosyncratic risk.
Like ffs DRS or I fear we all lose out on tendies.
Title pretty much says it all. I love a good ol' crime-detective mystery and or hard-boiled noir tale. I also like weird, out-there, transgressive things.
I'm looking for a deformed book baby, birthed by Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett with Chuck Palahniuk or Brett Easton Ellis.
Do any of you more experienced readers have something that I might like?
Edit: word.
The other day, I was texting a friend about the types of reflections produced by glass and polished metal.
After rereading my texts, I realized that I always think of and refer to a reflection as being "on" a surface ("my reflection on the glass"), rather than "in" it ("my reflection in the glass").
I went for a walk around town, noticing how I thought about all of the reflections I saw, and they are absolutely "on" surfaces to me.
I don't speak a language where reflections are talked about as being "on" things - in English, other people will say "in" pretty much exclusively. I've confirmed this with a few searches in the COCA corpus - it is always "in".
I had never given it any thought, let alone made any decisions on how I wanted to think about or talk about it.
Also, the above means that I've also heard "in" my entire life, yet somehow I have my own way of thinking about and talking about it.
How is it even possible to have such a divergent conceptualization of a concept like this?
