A list of puns related to "Hubristic"
I mean white magic as magic you can do for yourself that isnt harmful to other people such as financial magic (not aimed at a person), spiritual growth; and etc. I dont believe in practicing white magic in others benefit as your interfering in their lives and it should be up to them if they wouldβve wanted that type of help. Im researching it more and just wanted to know the general opinion of it amongst people, as i wanted to practice magical rituals if theirs issues in certain areas and to grow a relationship further with the gods by working with them. I keep in mind that the gods are the ultimate power, and see practicing magic as a way to ask for help from the gods and also recognize certain faults or issues going on within my life. Im researching multiple concepts such as the greek magical papyri in order to find out the gods view on magical practices and how ancients did it to further their relationship with the gods out of respect and admiration for them.
Im confused on this as i was doing research from some info that a hellenstic tiktoker gave which hes a ethical greek who was born into the religion. He claims he isnt a witch which I understand the connotation behind it so its not offensive nor do i claim to be one.
Iβve felt two sided about this, because of what some people have said which made me feel bad for doing spells and practicing magic and made me question it or I thought if done rightfully and according to the gods then its okay as long as its not Goetia, So Iβve been stuck in the middle of this internal debate about it.
βInteresting, this aesthetic grass patch in between this enormous housing estate and the Starbucks keeps getting walked on... letβs rebuild the fence for the eighth time.β
Greetings! So I was never really interested in βworking,β so to speak, with the Greek pantheon; mostly because I prefer reconstructionism and because I am perfectly just with worshipping them. I also acknowledge that it could (or would) be hubristic to do so.
However, recently I have been getting interested in The Lesser Keys of Solomon and the demons that are in it. I know that the word demon has a generally bad connotation but I see them as neutral on the basis of morality. I know that this is more occult than it is pagan since it involves invocation and active working from my understanding.
So my main question was, would it be hubristic to do so? I know that it counts as hubris to do this with the Greek gods but would the answer change if it was with a different pantheon?
I'm doing my first real nuzlocke, on Pokemon Platinum. I was preparing for the Crasher Wake fight when I realized that I had a problem. See, my Luxray, Azula, could deal with most of his team, but not his Quagsire. I needed a grass type, and since my Budew was rudely murdered, the only ones available were in the Great Marsh.
Since I'm playing with dupes clause, I figured I could go though the routes near Pastoria, likely encountering all the common water types there, and ensuring (as much as I could) that I would get a grass type. Then I realized I had one more encounter at the Valley Windworks. Today was Friday, and I was waiting to capture Drifloon when it appears. But Shellos and Buizel are also common there, so I ran right past the Drifloon I'd waited for, trying to narrow down my choices at the Great Marsh... and ran straight into a Pachirisu. It's name is Disappoint.
Next, Route 214. Since I already had a Geodude, my possible encounters there were Houndour and Rhyhorn. I reeeeaallly wanted a Houndour. Houndoom is one of my favorite Pokemon, and I have found exactly zero fire types so far in my run. I set my clock to daytime, so Houndour's odds of spawning were as high as they could go. After dodging the ever-persistent Gravelers, I finally got a new encounter. Of course, it was Rhyhorn. Foiled once again. I named her Karen, because the Dex says that they'll charge at anything and everything, and are way too dumb to ever be a benefit to society.
Is it just me or is there a difference between someone who hates humanity out of a moral outrage stemming from compassion, and someone who hates humanity just bc they're narcissists who believe that everyone but themselves is "stupid"?
I know some Vegans and Environmentalists, for instance, whom embrace accelerationism because they just want the world, and the people in it, to burn for their/its cruelty.
I also know people who want the world to burn because they dramatically resent people who being "stupid" (IE: making mundane trivial mistakes).
It's even more interesting when such people acknowledge the concept that "most people are sheep", but pretend that by merely having such knowledge, that they are somehow different from the herd despite still working a wageslave job, paying taxes, indulging mass media and evilshit, just like everyone else.
It's absolutely senile.
The shared universe I have created for my four and half story ideas that I still haven't written the stories for is more interesting and cohesive than Marvel or DC.
