A list of puns related to "Hour Of Code"
On Day 1 of the Reveal room codes were rotating in Odd/Even Hours so there was a maximum of 2 codes per charterer per day (6 Total).
Since i don't join anyone and run the puzzle solo and self transcribe my results to submit, i noticed upon comparing my codes to previous ones that they are now unique per hour there is no longer a 6 Total cap per day.
See my screenshot below with time stamps (EST time) all on my warlock, the codes are different every hour. I had already taken my 6 for the day across all my chars and the two new ones i took (3rd and 4th in this image) did not match any of these.

edit:
Thanks for the upvotes fam, I did want to add one odd thing that just happened to me. At 4 PM today on my Warlock I got a duplicate from 11 AM this morning (before reset) https://imgur.com/e1bG0Bg ... The rest of the codes I got remain unique. I will continue to analyze as the hours go on.
Edit 2 BIG UPDATE:
After analyzing 10 screenshots 1 every hour on the same account and same character from 11 AM EST to 8 PM EST it appears that the codes are NOT infinitely unique all day.
From what I can tell it appears that there is a pool of 5 codes that get assigned to your character. Once the 5 codes have been pulled they continue to loop from the start.
Since i don't have enough images to analyze from other days I don't know exactly if this is how it will continue to work, my theory is that the pool will continue to grow as the days go on since i had 4 yesterday and 5 today.
The very odd part to me is one of my codes today was from 11 AM before the reset, so i'm not sure if/when the pool changes. If you want to help with the analysis and have long play sessions or can run a macro to screenshot the room each hour we could better analyze the data to figure how this is working.
One thing is clear it is not just odd and even hour images as originally thought, I would assume the pool just started with 1 or 2 on Tuesday/earlier Wednesday...
Edit 3, Saturday 10:53 PM EST:
I have confirmed the results of the previous days, there is a pool of codes that is growing daily and as of today (Saturday) it is 6 codes per character (18 Total per Account) that rotate every hour from 1 Hour before the reset (11AM EST) to 5 PM (and tomorrow will it will likely be 6 PM). After the pool i

A little about me: I learned to code from books and personal projects, then got a job as a Software Engineer in San Francisco. I worked at two startups, including Coinbase. I've also made a living algorithmically trading crypto and as a sales engineer. Now I'm living in Mexico City and starting my own startup.
I can give coding help with Python, or just talk in general about learning and getting hired. I've done hiring myself and mentored a few people through interviews.
In return, I'd like to hear about your life and things you think could be better. I don't have anything to sell, I'm just looking for early ideas and inspiration. If that sounds like good use of your time, you can message me or just pick a time for a call on my schedule.
Hey guys, so just like the title says, iβd like to giveaway a code for Gears 5 Ultimate Edition to someone who truly needs it, instead of someone being the fastest to type in the code.
If you could leave a couple sentences about why you could use the game, iβll randomly select the winner at 8pm EST.
Have fun these holidays!!
EDIT: Contest winner is u/midnight_rebirth
Please check your PMβs for the code!
Only two more hours until the first day of Advent of Code 2019 begins. I'm eager to get started, got my setup ready and just watching the clock countdown now.
What are you trying to achieve this year? Learn a new language, try to get on the leader board, optimize your solution for run time, get every star within 24 hours of release, or just have a fun time? Let's get excited.
Since I need a flair for this post, I'll be posting my solutions to each day here.
I'm a software developer, a couple of months into (officially) leading a small team for the first time. In the company, even the most senior developers, even the founder that closes 6 figures contracts, code; unless of course you fully move to a PM or sales person role.
Anyway, that means that in the transition to code only 20% of the time, I still own projects that used to consume all the time from me.
So I had this due date that I already missed once and postponed two weeks, the first week I wasn't able to code at all, this Monday and Tuesday I went full caveman in my own cave and didn't do anything other than code, nothing good came from it, no the smallest deliverable. By Wednesday and Thursday I couldn't postpone my management activities and had to spend all the time with my team and meetings and whatnot, no coding but the thought of another missed due date was on my head all the time.
Yesterday night I made my plan, I sit after dinner and did a full analysis of what I knew about the problem, the approaches I tried, what could work and what couldn't and decided to start again, if I was not going to deliver again at least I would be able to have a plan for the weekend. This involved trying to do those tiny tasks like assigning tasks to teammates and answer emails, 2 hrs and I was done.
Monday morning, 1st hour, a couple of tasks, emails and the scrum stand up was over. I sat, closed the email, set Teams as Do Not Disturb, told my team to ask for help among them but come to me for emergencies and it happened... I started from scratch, used all the data from the night before and put a plan, for first time in a long time I actually listed my tiny goals, set my tests, made a mental map of everything and that's how it happened, I didn't attend the coworker birthday mini celebration at the cafeteria, I didn't do that small talk with people coming to our area, I struggled to stay away from Spotify and instead set From The New World from my good old friend Devorak in an infinite loop, then, just, coded.
I reminded me in every failure that it didn't matter, battled the sensation of failure and focused on keep working, keep trying... I think this day it was being disciplined is what helped me, I trusted my method, didn't cheat on my process... By 4pm I finally had it completed, maybe not all failures were lost battles and I learned something that at the end gave me the tools to solve the problem.
I'm happy in what I achieved today, yes, I may not have wro

I was jumping around the beams way up above where you fight the boss. Found this odd text. You have to look at it from the left for the letters to be readable. Any idea if it leads to anything? This was on Heroic.
Edit: We were low on time and I was constantly being shot at by the enemy up there, so unfortunately I couldnβt get a clearer image. This was the last run I could do at the time, or I wouldβve gone back in and got a better pic.
Edit: Soooo, it appears to be nothing. It says Armored Cable and these are located other places as well. Thanks to those who looked into it!

Morning, Reddit! My Magitech Chronicles Quadrilogy just went live on Audible, and they've generously given me 25 codes to pass along to you.
The series is basically epic fantasy set in space, with starships and technology right alongside dragons, magic, and dead gods. The books have been tremendously popular over the last year and I've got five out with a sixth on the way.
The ebook earned the orange bestseller tag in every category on Amazon, and the series has over a thousand reviews. If you are into RPGs I have maps, character sheets, artwork, and lore at magitechchronicles.com.
If you're interested in a code all you have to is one of the following:
Tell me about your favorite character in an RPG, pen & paper or video game
Tell me about the very first science fiction or fantasy novel you read.
I'll be checking in around lunch time and picking 25 winners. Thank you guys so much for your support. I simply cannot believe I get to do this for a living =D
Edit: I've sent out 25 codes. I emailed Audible to see if they'll give me more, so if you haven't posted yet please do! They're usually good about providing more.
idk about you guys but after a long day at work nothing really kills the mood like being forced to sit in front of my computer while the multiplayer shaders slowly install despite already having done so in full at least 4 times in the past week alone, I hope this is addressed in a soon-to-come patch.
I'm the narrator and I have UK and US promo codes for The fall of the Hour. Only released this month. In the UK it has 5 stars and in the US it has a 1-star review. The story is dark from the beginning and worth checking out if you like violence.
Hi /r/haskell!
Last year a lot of Haskellers had a lot of fun competing in Advent of Code 2017! If you haven't heard of it before, Advent of Code an annual series of daily themed light programming challenges that launch each morning from December 1st to December 25th. These aren't "Project Eulier" math-heavy questions, but often questions that involve fun data structures in interesting ways and follow a cute theme.
A lot of the challenges happen to be well-suited for Haskell, and a lot of great Haskell has emerged from it, like solution repositories:
The most fun, I think, is that we all do it together and discuss different solutions, learn more about Haskell. It's a great way to learn Haskell if you're interested, and also a great way to get plugged into the community. There's also a fun competitive aspect where we race together to complete challenges the fastest after they come out. (If you're participating, be sure to join glguy's Haskellers leaderboard/group! Code 43100-84040706). Among the global leaderboard, we have prominent Haskellers often show up, so it's a nice change to represent Haskell to the larger programming community, as well :)
A lot of us hang out in freenode's #haskell (IRC), and ##adventofcode. I also started an #adventofcode channel in the Functional Programming slack.
Happy Haskelling all!
