A list of puns related to "Horizontal Stabiliser"
So im reading up on this air crash where a Boeing 727 crashed because it was overloaded and because the horizontal stabiliser setting was wrong. They were supposed to have the stabilisers at 7 and three quarters and instead they had it at 6 and three quarters. Is the take off stabiliser setting the same as trim?
Does anyone know how the AN-124s horizontal stabilisers can mounted on the fuselage and not get interference from turbulent air from the wings?
The F/A-18 Hornet, among other aircraft features canted fins, as well as traditional "flat" horizontal stabilisers. Why is this? Why do the fins need to be canted? Why not just have them pointing straight up, at right angles to the stabilisers, or just have a traditional v type tail? There must be a reason but I can't put my finger on it. Anyone?

Arkira pulled up on the controls, curving the trajectory of the strikecraft to level off just below the clouds of dust. As the ship levelled after the sharp dive, the point defence turret peeked through the surface layer, like a shark fin cutting through the surface of a vast sandy coloured ocean.
βWOAH! YEAH!β he hollered, continuing with the verse from kickstart my heart. The turret turned to point into the dark of space, tracking the incoming projectiles. Light flashed in the lense, a powerful burst of photons lanced out into the void, crossing the distance to its target in less than a second. A small flash lit up the black as a missile was seared through by the heat and detonated.
The turret moved to track another target. Tight beams shot out repeatedly but failed to hit their target until another five seconds passed. The missile's subtle jinkβs and twirls throwing off the aim of an otherwise incredibly precise weapon. But more were coming, not just for lightning-2, but lightning-1 as well. All the while Diavolo picked out the estimated targets of the missiles and prepared countermeasures.
β8 at us, 7 at L-1, 15 missiles total. 2 down for us, PDC not cutting it,β He thought to himself. His training kicked it. Not missing a beat, Diavolo selected 3 particular missiles on the console and glanced towards the incoming threats. Raising a hand at the space between him and the hostile fighters, he tapped and drew a circle in the air around the group of missiles. His HUD and neural implant interpreted the display. The targets were selected.
He thumbed the launch button.
On the left side of the strike craft, a rectangular port snapped open. Three Ordinance intercept missiles (OIMβs) were magnetically flung off their launch racks and into space. Each listed amongst the light debris before their propulsion sys

#Introduction
Here we are again, another round of testing, and that means another round of feedback. Instead of creating 9 different topics, I have tried to put all feedback for all specs into this single post (and yes, I will also make sure to post it on the forums, but since devs at times also read reddit, it never hurts to post it in both places!) It is very possible I write things you disagree with, perhaps even strongly. If so, make sure to give your own feedback to Anet to counteract mine. In the end I think we all want the same thing: Viable, fun and engaging elite specs in End of Dragons.

######Shatters need big changes still. Change to casting speed, projectile speed, either unique shatters, all shatters becoming ammo skills , reduced shatter recharges (supposed to be the shatter spec, shatters have pretty much same cooldowns as base mesmer, mirage, and even 50% the same as Chrono, no way to shatter more, we shatter the exact same amount, being on recharge)or no CD/conditional no CD on F1 and F2 shatters. Or allow us to spend blades on other things than just shatters if you do not want to change shatters, because who needs 100 blades if I can only shatter 25 of them ( F1 x 2 +F2+F3+F4) and then have to wait for my cooldowns?
######Blades float around you but have no passive effect. I donβt know about you, but slamming into someone who has blades floating around them should be painful somehow.
######Traits still boring and passive The feedback was mainly (from what I saw at least) that we want some unique things that promote active play and NOT MORE BLADES, you ignored this and gave us more blades. Don't do this, we already generate more blades than we can actually shatter. Bonus when using a bladesong should stack, in combination with shatter suggestions from above. Need traits for immobilizes/psionics/blade threshold changes like Deadeyes Maleficent Seven or Scourge's 3 shades become 1 kind of thing. At least try to give the spec some complexity for those of us that crave it.
######Reflects still not adressed. That one trait does not solve this problem., not to mention it is not reliably triggered by the player. You cannot reliably plan for this effect to occur since you have to hope for your opponent to do something you can dodge/evade. You cannot setup burst reli

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
So I have been noticing this a lot
For no reason (at least seemingly) my planes keep losing power meaning that I am effectively on borrowed time. sometimes it just slows performance wise, others (normally precluded by the former) I slowly fall out of the sky and have to bail. I noticed this a lot on Normandy, particularly while maintaining air superiority using the P51c
Now if I had a damaged engine or something I would get it but most of the times this happens my plane has taken 1 or two bits of fuselage damage from small arms groundfire and thats it. at first I thought I was running out of fuel or something but recently I noticed the fuel counters for some planes showing up and the flight time is in the hours.
Skippable case study
this happened last game, my plane (a Dauntless) was flying around happily doing as they do, took some small arms fire but no damage at all to note and im flying just fine. then a fighter pops out, I see where it is, and go into a pretty steep climb (for an SBD) for a head on. I start shooting first and despite return fire by some miracle take no hits at all, headshot the pilot and try to recoup some speed
its at this point I notice the plane has gone sluggish, anticipating I might be stalling from the climb I drop my altitude but my speed barely budges yet my engine is running at 110, I try to keep her aloft but my speed starts dropping even in level flight to the point where Its inevitable that I will soon be skidding across the desert sand.
In this case, my flaps were up, my engine was running full, I had earlier in the game received moderate damage to my left elevator and minor damage to the opposing horizontal stabiliser and a section of body. The plane was flying with no issues beforehand and yet after having taken no additional damage or hearing any hits I was falling from the sky.
My big question here is why is this happening?
My three remaining theories are
There is an issue with damage replication whereby I was not made aware of damage I sustained server side from engaging the fighter
Maybe my engine overheated and that is not yet sufficiently telegraphed to the player
There is some bug whereby my engine or flaps status is not being displayed correctly (I will be testing this next time by toggling through them and then back to their running state see if that fixes it)
I would appreciate knowing if this has been mentioned before but for the life

I've been running my channel full time for 2 years with no other job needed. Before this, I was an SEO specialist, Copywriter and I've also worked in the media industry as a Film Maker & Freelance Journalist. As an SEO specialist, it was my job to analyse data relating to search engine optimization which included analysing analytics, such as Search Console and YouTube Studio, on a daily basis.
My channel gains between 1500 and 3000 subs a month and around 150K to 600K views a month. (Edited 150K from 300K. just put the wrong figure in)
I come here to answer the occasional question from time to time and I'm often amazed at the amount of misinformation on display in this sub. The vast majority of it is either, wrong, misinterpreted or just outright stupid.
I'm going to break down the stats you should be focusing on and why, as well as breaking a few myths such as the old "Just keep making content until a video takes off" concept which is absolutely the worst way to approach starting a YouTube channel.
No. You can actually grow a channel (1000+ subs per month) with a CTR as low as 2.5%.
Your CTR could be low for a variety of reasons. Of course, it could just be the fact that the thumbnail is awful. But the real reason is more likely to be that your niche is heavily saturated. Take gaming for example - There are literally thousands of gaming channels on YouTube so the viewer has an insane amount of options. If your street had 20 burger joints on it, and they all offer the same product, would you expect everyone to go to one burger joint or would they evenly spread out? Statistically, they would evenly spread out.
What you want to be looking for is a STABLE CTR. If your CTR is 3% but that's been your average for 3, 6, 12 months then it's potentially a good thing. Of course, there are many ways to boost CTR but that's a totally different topic. CTR can be widely different depending on the niche.
The myth here is that you need to have a CTR of at least 10% to grow your channel and that simply is not true.
No. The average ARR can be anything from 30% to 80%. Just because it's at 30% does not mean the video is not performing well.
What you SHOULD be focusing on here is how fast the chart declines. Go and look at your Audience Retention, look at the chart; how flat is that line? You want that line to

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
