A list of puns related to "Hooky"
Hey y'all, looking for the am4 plastic hooky bits for a stock cooler along with the screws. If you have it to spare, i will bless you with many thanks.
It'd be best if someone had some near me! i am located in Thornhill. <3

I've instuted a new personal Friday tradition of leaving work early, and going to a local spot to play pins for a couple hours.
Join me today in celebrating PHF!
And it was facisinating, reading about all the technical aspects of the music, to the music videos and everything in-between (even if I was pretty dissapointed that he barley talked about Freebass, maybe he's saving material for anouther book? The story of New Order is still far from over after all). Although, here's some things that I found highly questionable.
1: Hooky really doesn't like Gillian Gilbert. He claims that she had no musical talent of her own (which is complete nonsense when you ask yourself that if she really did have no talent, then surley the music of New Order would not sound anywhere near as incredible as they are? That and the Other Two wouldn't be amazing if that were the case). He also claims that Bernard felt the same way (which I find hard to believe, considering he and Gillian are still working together to this day and seem to be on pretty good terms with each other), and it takes about 500 pages for him to say even anything remotley positive about her (and consider he praises Bernard more often, that quite a statement).
Now, I'm not calling Hooky a liar (unlike Hooky, who claims Bernard lied about quite a few things in his book, mostly about what happened in the 2000's), but memories can change over time. Besides, he did do more drugs and alcahol than the rest of the band.
2: Hooky really doesn't like Bernard Sumner. Not only does he constantly call him a 'twat', but he also portrays him as a hyprocritcal, contradictry dictator (and seems to imply the other members of the band were just happy to go along with whatever he did).
3: I find it highly ironic that Hooky kept pushing for New Order to go in a more guitar-oriented direction, but when they eventually did, he didn't like the results.
4: Hooky doesn't really say anything positive or negative about Stephen Morris (other than consider him a backstabber at the end of the book).
5: At one point, Hooky heavily implies he was ready to murder Bernard while making 'waiting for the sirens call', and only didn't because Bernard wasn't there when Hooky arrived.
6: Hooky details how the band weren't very happy with him for buying the Hacienda name. I would like to point out how that place took a lot of the money that New Order had made and ensured the band members were not recieving that much money for a long time and ensuring they were not living in anything better than mediocre housing. So finding out that Hooky had brought the name probably made them very upset, which would e
... keep reading on reddit β‘As a drinker, I used to take "mental health days" which were really me just leaving for work, calling in sick, and finding a bar that opened at 7am. I'd drink till about 1, sleep it off, and by the time my wife got home it just seemed like I had worked all day, beat her home and cracked open a beer after a long day.
Yesterday I was just wiped out. Lot of stress and shit going on, and I legitimately needed a day to just let my brain catch up with itself, so I took a personal day to just relax. Ended up getting my taxes done, met a friend for some lunch, and really it just felt good to pause some of the noise for a few hours.
My wife ended up having kind of an emergency and out of the blue, I had to get her to the hospital. How lucky is it that I was completely sober and able to drop everything and take care of her, then get our kid and take care of him. Had this happened a couple of years ago, I would have been caught shitplowed drunk in the early afternoon with no way to explain it, and it could have been this horrible event that honestly could have jeopardized my marriage.
Obviously my wife's health is a huge concern, and I am so grateful to be sober and able to actually support my family instead of burden it.
I have very little on my work plate today, many colleagues are out, and my libido needs serious attention. Sounds like a perfect day to duck out for some much needed personal time. Maybe you feel the same way. Letβs put work aside and let me put in some work on you. Iβm 42, intelligent, educated, slim, attractive, 6β5β tall, well endowed, DDF, in Marin, Covid vaccinated, safe, fun, playful, open, honest and motivated. Are you in a similar situation this week? Tell me why and what you want.
And I enjoyed it! It was fasinating learning about how on earth a place that lost so much money stayed open for so long. It was also nice that Hooky didn't have anything bad to say about his former band (although I did get the sense he was jealous that they ended their association with the Hacienda much, much earlier than Hooky did, who was still associated with the Hacienda until it closed).
