So a couple of quotes from Neville here on the subject-

This is true meaning of finding Jesus Christ Within ourselves, Neville understood clearly better than most do. Most new age and western/eastern teachings involve telling us to kill off our individuality and to merge with the Oneness of the all. These are false teachings and are a complete perversion of the TRUTH! I am fell into this Oneness trap myself and my life got much worse and not better, I lost all control of my mind and simply felt depersonalised and like a vacant body.
I guess it will come as absolutely no surprise to you will it? That all of these modern day new cage and non duality spiritual teachings are actually the opposite of the truth and are misleading lies, but I felt it important to say it anyway! If you buy into all this anti ego nonsense, you have bought the lie. They tell us individuality is the enemy and breaking free of the herd of sheep is the enemy, when it is actually being lost in a collective hive mind of sheep thinking that is the real enemy.
We are already in Oneness, without any individuality and merged with the collective when we are unawakened.
You want proof? How many of the thoughts inside your head right now are actually yours? How many of your beliefs are actually your own beliefs? How many of your life decisions or conditions have been actually chosen by yourself? Really ask yourself these questions and then come back to me and tell me that your own individuality is the enemy here, you have absolutely no individuality when you exist here in this world of universal sleep. When you awaken, you regain your individuality, you do not lose it even more, you lost your individuality when you came in here in the first place.
This whole world encourages us to kill off our individuality, our parents, religions, spiritual teachers, education, governments and institutions all tell us being individual is bad, bad, bad! So I recently heard about the ladder experiment and was very fascinated and intrigued. I do want to try it out but I was wondering, why does Neville asked to affirm the feeling of "not wanting to climbing the ladder" during the day. If you want something, you should be affirming that you want it, right? But why is it the other way around here?
