My thoughts:

1. It's nice that God actually responds to an accusation for once. Would be better if he did so consistently.

2. It strikes me again that God is guilty of the very things he accuses idols of; in this case not speaking. Sure some prophets claim to speak for him, but I'm sure the same could be said of the idols.

Concept - Project Habakkuk was a WW2 project explored by the British in response to declining availability in steel and iron to build warships. The project investigated the idea of using Pykrete (a wood pulp/sawdust and ice mixture) to form the main body of the ship. Pykrete boasts noticeable improvements over traditional ice including being allegedly stronger than concrete and taking longer to melt than ice. The British even tested it during a meeting by firing at it with a bullet causing the bullet to bounce and hit an audience member! Seriously this is some neat stuff.

Their intention was to build an enormous aircraft carrier using the material - a ship that would even dwarf other massive ships like modern supercarriers. For comparison, even Habakkuk III (the smallest concept of the project), was set to be at least 2,000 ft long and weighed 1.8 Million tons. For reference, Midway (the longest ship we'll probably have in Azur Lane) and Yamato (the heaviest ship) Habakkuk is twice as long as Midway and weighs 25x more than Yamato. She's a big girl. So with background out of the way, lets head into the ship - P.S. was inspired to do this post by this reddit OC.

Design - The proportions of the ship are large at the top and bottom due to her massive size making her similar to Formidable or Kashino in bodily figure and physique except taller. Her skin color is a pale white similar to that of Tirpitz (I think they'd get along well). Her hair falls down to her chest and is a bet messy. Its color shines a bright red/scarlet to create contrast with her pale skin, as an homage to her Canadian prototype and her personality. Her eyes are filled with a light brown yellowish color similar to that of actual Pykrete.

Wears a silver rosary referencing her name Habakkuk which comes from a biblical prophet. As for clothing she wears a WW2 admiral outift top ending in a Victorian pleated style split skirt underneath which drops down to a bit below the knees (a bit more revealing than actual skirts to show off the thighs). She's adorned in mostly white but some red, black, and yellow accents similar to that of Rossiya and the other Russian BB's. On top of this she wears an asymmetric goose feather shawl which goes mostly behind her back. She wears tall jet black snow boots that cut underneath her dress. Her rigging is very large and

• background: Project Habakkuk was one of the most infamous naval projects of World War 2. She was supposed to be an aircraft carrier made of ice. If built, she would be over 2 miles long which is over two times longer than even modern carriers. Her intended task is to ambush German destroyers by disguising as a iceberg and sinking the destroyers with spitfires and mosquito bombers. Her building materials would make her effectively unsinkable but her speed would only be 6 knots (for comparison, battleship USS Texas has a top speed of 21 knots). Unfortunately, Habakkuk was never built or even laid down. Her idea was just too bazar.

  • Pykrete behemoth: every second, Habakkuk takes a certain amount of HP worth of damage dependent on ship’s level and takes reduced torpedo damage. If Habakkuk’s HP is reduced to zero, she launches one airstrike and stays afloat for 5 seconds before sinking (if hit by an enemy during the staying afloat effect, she stays afloat)

  • Hailstorm of ice and lead: Habakkuk’s aviation stat will increase by 50% and launches 3 spitfires and 3 mosquitos upon launching an airstrike.

  • Siren killer: increases damage to Sirens by 10%

• personality: Habakkuk is very cold and stoic. She is indifferent to many things and can barely be fazed. She has a very low body temperature so touching her is like touching an iceberg. That also means that she can’t feel anything. The Eagle Union carriers are fascinated by Habakkuk and the Royal Navy girls are mostly weirded out or proud of her. The Iron Blood destroyers are terrified of her. Habakkuk is often mistook for an emotionless girl but in reality, she can feel emotions. She just has trouble showing it.

Source Context/More About: Project Habakkuk or Habbakuk (spelling varies) was a plan by the British during the Second World War to construct an aircraft carrier out of pykrete (a mixture of wood pulp and ice) for use against German U-boats in the mid-Atlantic, which were beyond the flight range of land-based planes at that time. The idea came from Geoffrey Pyke, who worked for Combined Operations Headquarters. After promising scale tests and the creation of a prototype on Patricia Lake, Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, the project was shelved due to rising costs, added requirements, and the availability of longer-range aircraft and escort carriers which closed the Mid-Atlantic gap that the project was intended to address.

Project Habakkuk was the plan by the British to build an aircraft carrier out of pykrete (a combination of ice and wood) due to the strength of the substance; so would HMS Habakkuk be possible in the Kaiserreich-verse? Would it even be useful for the Canadians/Royal Family?
