A list of puns related to "Guru Nanak"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc9pzKiISxU here is a video done on this topic wherin a reply to Mirza Masroor Ahmad was given as to whether Nanak was a Sikh or not.
"This knowledge which had been bestowed upon Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad by God Almighty some 30 years before he wrote Sat Bachan between September 1895 and November 1895, or to make the calculation easier for the contentious mullahs, in around 1865, indicated that Hazrat Baba Nanak professed and practised the faith of Islam" Fn. 20: Nazool ul Masih: pp. 203/204
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad alleged that the founder of Sikhism (Guru Nanak) was not a Sikh but a practicing Muslim who converted from Hinduism based on 'divine revelation'.
This is factually incorrect, Sikhs have answered this many times as well. If Ahmadis come to learn that Guru Nanak was not actually a Muslim that would falsify Ghulam Ahmad's Wahi, thus making him a false claimant according to his own words.
Below is a great article which goes in depth into the whole matter of Guru Nanak and how he was never a Muslim.
The purpose of the article " The aim of this paper was to examine both the century-old arguments of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and the subsequent apologetics of his followers to determine whether there was any truth to the bold claim that Guru Nanak, who is almost universally accepted as the founder of Sikhism, was a Muslim. Unlike the Ahmadiyya though, who it was found deliberately restricted their research to a narrow selection of historical sources, our objective was to be as comprehensive in our approach as possible. Thus, in order to acquire a far more nuanced and precise record of Nanak’s life, we turned to a larger selection of hagiographies than the single one opted for by Ahmad."
In the book “dictionary of Islam” which Ahmadis quote, on page 587 it says “is god then one?” To Which Nanak firmly replied : ‘God(Khuda) is one’ (fol.55) This was intended to satisfy Mnrdana that there is no difference between the Muhammadan and Hindu God”.
So is the Hindu God and Muslim god the same now?
Moreover the same page it says
*“Nanak explains his peculiar position and view

Hey, hi. I was raised Muslim, then became agnostic, then Christian and finally; I am an Atheist and want to learn what reasons(s) you have for the veracity of your religion and scripture. I posted similarly on latterdaysaints(Mormons) and Catholics.
For Muslims, it is the inimitability and uniqueness of the Quran, for Christians it is the resurrection appearances of the apostles(and their willingness to die for the belief in Christ), for latterdaysaints, it is the almost impossibility that Joseph Smith, a late teen with very scanty education in 1830s could have authored the entire Book of Mormon.
Do you have any such claim in your religion? What is the strongest indication that you are right? Are there any miracles in your scriptures which you claim to have been impossible to be written without divine intervention and why?

As the title states, which vaccine is offered there?
Curious to know as i don’t get the option to book a vaccination in Bedford when I look on the NHS website. I can book either Ampthill Road or the gurdwara through the councils website though but it doesn’t state which one is given. Would rather avoid the AZ if possible.
Received official information from the NHS:
> It is difficult to say which vaccine will be administered on a certain day at any of our vaccination clinics as this is dependent on supply and delivery. However I can confirm that patients under 40 will be given the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine as recommended. The second dose is the same as the first dose for all patients.
I’ll leave this post up just in case someone else is looking for this information.
I kinda discontinued my studies and wanted to pursue further and found this university online.
They are charging around 32,000 INR per year and I wanted to know from any punjabi living in and around Amritsar, is this university Government or Private? How authentic is their degree and is it recognized if I am immigrating to Canada ?
Please any help is appreciated! Thanks a lot
WJKK WJKF!
Growing up in the western world I feel like we’ve always been taught Guru Nanak Dev Ji is merely a messenger of Vaheguru. However, I have been reading a lot of stuff recently which contradicts that and actually points to them being Akaal Purakh themselves. Please could someone explain with reference to Gurbani and any resources I can read/watch which may allude to the fact that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was in fact Akaal Purakh in human form? Thank you in advance!
An article mentions European, William Ouseley published a book in 1797 called "Oriental Collections Vol II". William Ouseley found this picture of Guru Nanak at Baghdad and included it in his book.
Please read the context provided in the link below. I am not saying this is the true portrait of Guru Nanak, since the book was compiled 200 years after Guru Nanak passed away.
I cannot find the exact date of the original portrait included, if you can, please share it with us.
