My steering seems to be progressing extremely slow and I keep getting very vague advice on how to improve it. We've gone up to third gear, did 3 point turns, U-turns, traffic lights, give-ways, busier roads etc. but after +10 lessons I'm still mostly on nursery roads.
I'm working full-time and there's no one else in my household that can drive and whom I can practice with, which might contribute to the problem, but I'm still worried I might be wasting my money with someone that can't really figure out how to work with me and won't take most of my suggestions on board either :/ He also randomly increased his rates after accidentally seeing the balance on my HSBC app while I was sending him money after a lesson, not by a disproportionate amount but still weird.
It would really help me a lot if anyone knew someone that undersands how I'm wired and knows what might get me to move forward, if you're not comfortable posting their name in here please DM :)
Happily sitting on my couch enjoying some tuna pasta last night and a firework goes fleeing past my window. Got the fright of my life before I pop my head out the balcony door and see a young boy about to launch another one in my flats general direction.
One of my neighbours tired to approach them and they were quick to launch one in his general direction too, he is unharmed luckily!! They were also enjoying aiming them at each other.
I called the police but they said it has already been reported. Has anybody else noticed this happening more and more recently??
Is ‘new gorbals’ just a marketing term for parts of gorbals that were demolished and redeveloped? Or has it always been known as that?
Av heard people say it’s the dodgiest part in all of Glasgow and others say it’s rly not that bad, what’s everyone’s stance on it?👀
Edit: for context, my family used to live around it and a question if it’s now as bad as they used to make it out to be back then or if it’s actually a decent place
