A list of puns related to "Ganges Delta"
The first archaeological evidences of Arabβs invasion or migration is found in northern part of the Ganges-Brahmaputra delta, currently known as Bangladesh. Some stones and bricks are found where qalemay shahadat had been curved. The carbon date of these bricks would be 620 which is 50 years after the prophet Muhammad born. There is a mosque found in rangpur, another southern district of Bangladesh which is dated back to 691 Ref: http://bangladeshunlocked.blogspot.com/2011/02/701-ce-one-of-oldest-mosques-in-world.html?m=1
According to text book history, during the reign of Umar caliphate, Arabs came here to rob trade carts and people to make some easy money. At that time people in this region was rich in food and property and Arabs were poor. After couple of centuries, they started trading spices and other things.
My question is, prophet Muhammad and his caliphates were highly relied on robbing and defeating other areas and slave trades. At that time slave trades were profitable for them.
While invasion of Arabs I couldnβt find any historic document of slave trading in this area by Arabs.
Werenβt they interested enough to initiate the slave trade over here?
Another question, before islam is there any sign of Arab invasion or migration in this area?
I found the album "A Meeting by the River" by Ry Cooder and Vishwa Mohan Bhatt a few months ago, and absolutely fell in love with the track "Ganges Delta Blues".
The other songs are good too, but this one in particular, is quick-paced, almost frenetic at times. It's predominantly string-based (with a lot of percussion), and quickly mixes between blues and Indian classical music, and I haven't really found anything else like it.
Please help me find similar music!

The Kingdom is able to pay for 2.5bn USD of this of a total amount of funds of: 23.4bn USD. We therefore ask all nations to invest in this to protect the Bengali people during the wet season.
