Hey Guys, for anyone looking for a doctor to get circumcised in Germany, I can recommend Dr Weiss in Fürth. I just made an appointment with him to get recircumcised low and tight. He said that he has no problem going as low and tight as I want, he would even stitch directly to the glans. The only criteria is that you have enough loose skin. Cost is 425€ Just wanted to share :)

COVID cases: Faghir, Ahamada, Silas will be in isolation until Jan 9. Klimowicz will come back from Argentina tomorrow; Mavropanos doesn't have to be in isolation anymore and won't be an option for the game.
Other team news: Thommy is doing parts of the training today for the first time. Sankoh is on a good path. Karazor has some issues with his metatarsus; questionable for the match. Everyone else is alright.
Reporter: Do you think COVID is playing a role on the final standings of the Bundesliga?
> Matarazzo: In general, I think that every player that is out to covid can have an effect on the performance of a team. Of course, if there are some players who we cannot field at the moment, that can't be an advantage. For the final standings it's not the most important factor but one of many.
> M: He's feeling surprisingly well. We'll see if that's enough for 60 minutes. Could be enough, we still have one day of training tomorrow. It's a possibility but nothing's for sure at the moment.
> M: Yes, he will unless something unforeseeable happens in the next 48 hours.
> M: I think every start is important. The start of the Rückrunde (2nd half of the season) is a restart in a way for us. It's important to start with good performances and good results. I'm not thinking about what would happen if we lost. If we're trying to reach our limits we'll be able to collect the 3 points in an away match.
> M: The break was short but it did them good after all. Everyone's back on their highest level and they're awaiting the start of the Rückrunde.
> M: It's good to see him back on the pitch. He has many qualities besides those of a typical striker. He's a leader in the team, he's talking a lot to other players.
> M: It's always about consistency. We know who we are, where we are and what the situ

With just 1 point in 14 games, Fürth has already set an unwanted record of worst start in 14 matches in the Bundesliga. It's not like they're the only bad team in Bundesliga history, but what really makes Fürth stand out as historically awful is their GD, which sits at an astonishing -34. To put this in perspective:
The latter bullet point is especially astonishing because if Fürth's putrid play continues, they theoretically will finish with somewhere in the -82 or -83 range. Not exactly Tasmania level, but incredibly close, almost worse considering the circumstances surrounding that 1965-66 squad.
And it's not like Fürth is anywhere close to other bad teams this season. Arminia, the next-worst squad, and their 10 points feel like a mountain compared to where Fürth is at. And all Fürth could pull out against them was a draw for their only point of the season so far.
I don't think Fürth will finish with 1 point, but the prospects are not bright, and this squad is really making a case nearly halfway through the season for the worst Bundesliga team ever.

Well, at least Fürth already won their first game of the season so that will not happen against us. I still expect them to park everything they have against us tho.

Title. Couldn't find much of anything besides that another team it merged with had the name Vesternbergsgreuth, which is a town. So I guess it got it from that name, but what's "greuth" if anything? Probably just an old place name?
