A list of puns related to "Furcula"
Hi all, I'm the person that maintains this spreadsheet here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/193WkXOQTwTKBeCLGD8lQ6YILXwGgtpkRhoYftNlKt5M/edit?usp=sharing
Just a couple things I want to update you guys with.
JP/future maths
I mentioned before that I will be doing JP maths so people can get an idea of what's to come, and I was doing that for a while. However, I stopped since we do not know how GL will handle EX+2/EX+3 skills/passives/VCs with upcoming units. Once FF7R comes and we have a better idea, expect to see the sheet to be populated with future JP units once again.
Another thing I want to bring up is with the EX+2/+3 changes, there is a large discrepancy between how the EX levels. Therefore, expect to see some changes in the format of the sheet to accommodate EX+1, +2, and +3 maths. This will not be applied retroactively to older units due to the amount of work involved.
Morale battle/DV burst
I'm still in the process of deciding what to do with morale battle specific units. What will most likely happen is that the damage over turns and burst damage be split into 2 sheets, and morale burst will be calculated separately and presented beside burst for DV purposes. Expect to see that change in the coming month.
Discord bot commands
Judge bot has been updated to show rotation now as well. You may find Judge bot in the official FFBE discord. The command prompt is $. Credits to Roy for working on the bot. Another feature that's in discussion is to be able to pull up all unit animations (eg. idle, attack, LB etc).
$dpt - returns DPT for normal assumptions
$wdpt - returns DPT for STMR assumptions
$wburst - returns burst with STMR assumptions
$rot - returns the skill rotation for a unit used on the spreadsheet
$help - returns list of commands
Eg.
$dpt Elena
$wburst Louise | Noppy
I've been a bit slow at updating the sheet the last couple weeks due to a new puppy. Hopefully things will settle down and math will come out sooner.
Cheers.
Hey guys, it's me again, with a new spreadsheet, and what'll hopefully be the last major change for a while.
There are a few changes associated with the migration and I will list the major ones down below along with their rationale. Please see the assumptions page on the spreadsheet for full details.
Team support assumptions changed
With the current meta, it's not uncommon to have external chains/bringing 3 DPS/use a tag chainer to a trial fight, and often times, it is required to meet the kill by turn x mission. Therefore, a few assumptions have been changed.
External chaining is available to all units if needed. Therefore, if they need to cap a finisher/LB in their rotation, that is allowed. On top of that, there is now a 15 LB cryst/turn support to better reflect what may happen in a fight. With increasing number of units being able to generate LB crysts, and an increasing number of NV units wanting to use their LBs, something had to change. It's unrealistic to allow full LB every turn, but it's also unrealistic to not give something to them. Therefore, 15 LB crysts/turn was settled upon and this reflects the type of support you may actually have in a fight.
TLDR: Units allowed to cap skills in rotation. More LB cryst generation support.
Killers calculations are gone
The work required to maintain the previous sheet was simply too much for the time I had on hand. I knew it was ambitious to start out with and having to build 12 additional builds for each unit (36 for hybrids) ended up being way too time consuming.
Instead, a STMR burst column is created to show damage against a raceless enemy and this will be mostly applicable just for DV. There are a few things to note here. Zidane is coming out and his STMR will be a staple in future DVs, to make the sheet more future proof, Zidane STMR is applied to all units (300% stats and LB buff), which also gives them a leveling playing field. Do keep in mind that this also means that some units like Ibara will have an inflated number until Zidane comes out in a month or two.
Weapon imperils, elemental amps are not included as part of the calculations as they may vary with future unit availability so do please keep that in mind. Luckily, those are simple multipliers that you can tag on so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out.
You will also find that if a unit is
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey guys, it's Furcula here. I'm maintaining one of the spreadsheets that's now lying around and with future JP units having big differences at EX+2/+3, I wanted to reach out and see what people wanted to see more.
Current assumptions for "whale" calcs are that units are at EX+2 and this is perfectly fine for now. However, very noticeably starting with the upcoming FF7R banner, there's a wide gap between EX+2 and EX+3 units and there are some skills/mechanics that's locked completely behind EX+3.
The goal of the future JP math is to give people an idea of what the powercreep is like to come, so they can plan their pulls better. We're not sure how GL is going to handle the EX+2/+3 passives/upgrades that we see in JP today and they have a major impact on the performance numbers of a unit. But I still want to continue giving people an idea of what's to come.
So I wanted to reach out and see what would you rather prefer to see for future JP whale calcs in the next coming months?
Assume the unit is at EX+2, without some of the power they would gain at EX+3
OR
Assume the unit is at EX+3, with everything unlocked, more unlikely to be reached by players
I've made a POLL if you'd like to participate. Please let me know your thoughts.
Cheers
Hey guys, you might have seen me around at some point with the damage spreadsheet that I'm maintaining. I migrated the spreadsheet to a completely new document with better formatting, chain mods, and slightly different assumptions.
The link to the new spreadsheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RgfRNTHJ4qczJVBRLb5ayvCMy4A7A19U7Gs6aU4xtQE/edit?usp=sharing
Any addition assumptions or notes can be seen on the unit's own specific sheet along with their build and link to the wiki page. Units are ordered alphabetically by their full name.
Due to recent power creep in GL, I'm wary of calculating too many future DPS since they can be drastically changed. But the unreleased units list will be populated with a few of the more notable units overtime. But you will see a lot less units on there compared to the previous sheet.
Keep in mind that this sheet should only be used as a general guide. Actual damage output of your unit will vary depending on your equipment, team composition and killers in effect etc.
Lila and Sephiroth will be added onto the sheet after enhancements.
Cheers.
I will try to make this brief.
I've been having connection issues with the old spreadsheet with the large number of people accessing it at the same time. It got to a point where it was extremely annoying to work with as I would just get constantly disconnected for minutes at a time. I was also unable to change the privacy setting on the sheet and set it to private as it would just give me an error. All in all, that led to the old sheet being deleted.
However, the show must go on so see below for the new link
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o-q9G1I1Z1QArbzrTySjjNs-OvmLE-sBRYljCX6EKUo/edit?usp=sharing
If for some reason the link doesn't work in the future, don't freak out. I'm probably just setting it to private to work in peace or was kidnapped and having my organs harvested.
I'm also going to be making a couple changes to the spreadsheet over the next little while....
1. JP units will no longer be restricted from materia stacking.
This was something I started out doing to try to get builds closer to what we would expect in GL. However, it's bit of a pain to do that in the builder and GL also has a lot of gear that JP does not. Therefore, materia stacking will be available for JP units. This also becomes a better reflection of how good they were in JP.
2. An additional column will be added on the comparison sheets to reflect damage output with a minimum bulk requirement
An additional set of calculations will be done for units ~7b DPT and higher where they have to hit a minimum bulk of 5m 8m 10m after buffs physical and magic eHP. A slot will still be left empty for killers as it will most likely be better than that 60% ATK/MAG materia or if you need elemental resists etc. This should then be a better reflection of how strong the unit is in an actual trial situation where you want to build tanky.
Expect these changes to be pushed out over the next few weeks. I will also be updating the builds of all units once again.
On a last note, with the holidays coming up. I may not be as quick at doing damage calculations as usual. I will try my best to have new units calculated within an hour to two of datamine. Damage calculations for any enhanced DPS will likely happen within the next couple days after maintenance.
Cheers
Hello all, with the help of my one functioning brain cell, I created a new page on the FFBE wiki. Showing the damage calculations done by Furcula and ShadoWalker. This page will be automatically updated whenever the sheets are, so you won't have to worry about any mismatched data.
https://exvius.gamepedia.com/Damage_Calculations_by_Furcula
The idea of this page is to lighten the load being put on the Google Spreadsheet. Even if just a little bit.
The page will display both normal, and BIS calculations. Unfortunately rotations are not present (for now) since that would take up an immense amount of space. But i'll think of something.
Also as an added benefit, with it being on the Wiki, you can sort the units easier. Tell your friends, use it, enjoy it, don't enjoy it. Feedback always welcome.
Today Furcula deleted his damage charts that we are so used to referencing. Why did he do this? All for a medium round table pizza. Rip Furc's calcs
Hey all, don't mind me, just throwing another spreadsheet into the pile. I'm excited about the eventual release of the Dark Visions (DV) event this spring (aka next week to September) and have decided to put together a spreadsheet to help with making decisions concerning DPS usage and future pulling. You may also be interested in the sheet if you are curious how much a unit can burst.
You can check out this post to learn a bit more about DV but generally, you want to burst as much as you can, in a single turn.
This sheet will provide you with the maximum burst the unit can output after setting up. The turn count indicates when the burst happens. There are also information on their chaining families, number of targets, killers and potential elemental locks.
I expect GL will eventually get the new DV system where turns does not impact your score, therefore, there is no turn limit set on units (aka they can take as long as they want to setup to gain the highest possible burst).
As this is something I've just started working on, more and more units will be added overtime, including future JP units and hybrids. Due to the nature of DV bosses having either high DEF or SPR, hybrids will find themselves on both the physical and magic burst comparison page with either ATK or MAG focused different builds, but also exist on hybrid comparison for outside of DV.
Cheers.

Someone used to post their ratties Count Furcula and Doctor Poo on this sub, and they were so adorable. Just wondering if their owner had been around lately.
Hey guys,
Just wanted to give you guys a brief update that if you're using my spreadsheet, you may see some of the numbers have jumped up. This is due to the addition of doorpots to all units and updating TDW gear for some. Units with updated pages will have a green box beside them on the comparison page. I will be slowly updating everyone over the next week or so and all future DPS calculations will also include door pots.

I am looking for a JP spreadsheet to know more about the dps will coming in the following months. Yeah I know GL is diferent and they will came buffed or something like that, its just to have some knowledge about other units and possible rotations.
