A list of puns related to "From Autumn To Ashes"
I googled to see if they had a sub, and it directed me here, so I thought I'd ask. I've been OBsessed with Betwixt Her Gateway Sticks form the Masters of Horror soundtrack since its release. I'd never heard of them prior, I only bought it because I'm like the world's biggest Mudvayne fan. But that song stood out so much and has become a favorite of mine, and every time I dry to fig deeper into them, I never get anywhere. That song is bipolar and heavy, yet the rest of their stuff seems pretty...punk? I understand they've been through multiple singers, and apparently this song was cut from "Abandon Your Friends?" I tried listening to that one as it's from the same timeframe, but none of the songs sound remotely similar to BHGS, aside from "Sugar Wolf" kind of.... I don't even know what I'm looking for tbh. Do they have any heavier songs? Can anyone recommend something similar? I'm not a huge Hardcore ANYTHING fan, but love me some bipolar sounding music that feels legit.
Which one sounds better, original release or reissue?
I really love this song, primarily I love the post hardcore sounds of the music/band, but the melodic female vocals from Melanie Wills. I've been trying to find other band with female lead vocals but most of them sing the more traditional screaming type of vocal, not melodic singing. Any recommendations?
Preferably lesser known, but it doesn't really matter.

Maybe some other fans from their scene days on myspace will remember this one. Had some really good lines, like "Roll away from me / Roald is for me / You sank my raft :( / FARBERWARE / What's on your mind? / Rise on pie" complete with Windows Movie Maker level editing of pictures and text. I've only found ones that were probably inspired by this one, but they're not as funny to me because nostalgia.
EDIT: The song being interpreted was "A Reflection Of Anguish On A Face So Innocent"
I started getting into metalcore/hardcore in the early 2000's. I was just wondering how this style became so popular. Did all these bands just decide to play this style at the same time or was there a pre-cursor band that invented this vocal style?
:)
