A list of puns related to "Fordyce Spots"
Hi all,
I am from Portugal and since I was 16 years old I suffered from a severe case of Fordyce Spots on my penis (I am 25 now). Nonetheless, I am so happy to say that I was finally able to get rid of these spots.
As mentioned above, this all began when I was 16 when started to appear several white pimples across my penis (40/50 in total); they seemed to be normal sebaceous spots located on the skin between above my testicles and the top (head) of my penis. Several times, I tried to squeeze them however it didnβt come out any pus; additionally, it only become worst as the spots tended to increase in diameter after doing that.
In Portugal, I went to several dermatologists and plastic surgeons nonetheless, the majority of them told me that with time the pimples would disappear (of course they didnβt). Some of them recommended some creams but didnβt work too. After several tries, I found a dermatologist who suggested doing a CO2 laser treatment to try to destroy them.
With this doctor, I did 10 sessions with 1 month and half of interval between each of them; the objective was to destroy the majority (all if possible) of the 40/50 spots in each session. As I had a very severe case of Fordyce Spots, several of the pimples were located on the lower levels of the skin, making it very difficult (if not impossible) to get rid of them via laser treatment.
One very exhausting thing was the fact that on those 10 sessions, I was able to get rid of 3/4 spots, nonetheless, those spots were the smaller ones (which were located on the surface and not on the lower levels of the skin); my way of thinking was that if I was able to get rid of those 3/4 spots I would be able to get rid of the other ones; hence I was always hopeful that the next session would be one of the last ones nonetheless after the healing process was over the pimples always tended to reappear; it was extremely frustrating.
After those 10 sessions and as the problem persisted, I started to search for other doctors and found a dermatologist that seemed more competent and meticulous. We tried the same CO2 laser treatment however, with a higher intensity nonetheless, the spots continued not to disappear; that was when I started to get worried and be very depressed as I thought I would not be able to solve this problem.
One of the most negative sides of this treatment is that the parts of the skin that get burnt with the laser become lighter in color compared with the surrounding area leading to some d
... keep reading on reddit β‘I have fordyce spots at the base of my penis. These are little skin coloured lumps. They are not a STD and cannot be transmitted. When having sex with a girl for the first time is it better to bring it up or say nothing? I feel like saying something would be weird and ruin the moment, but also donβt want the girl to think I have an std.
Hey Iβm a 22 year old I recently got these spots only underneath my shaft I had a video call with a doctor and they said they were fordyce spots but didnβt see pictures of them, they started off extremely small white bumps I tried squeezing some and it irritated them as seen in pictures below. I have no pain, burning, or itching from these spots and just really want any more insight on them so I can put my worries to rest and move on with my life.
I am a 19 year old male in college. I have hundreds of fordyce spots on my penis shaft and am absolutely terrified of what a girl will think/do when she sees them. I'm a pretty good looking guy, girls have openly said they liked me and would date me. I have never given any girl a chance. I have completely stayed away from dating/women because I'm absolutely terrified of what they will think of my penis. If I were a girl and saw that, I wouldn't want to give head and would probably think that their an STD or some weird shit. The second part of that fear is that she would tell someone and my friends would find out. I doubt they would ever mention it to me, but the thought of my friends knowing I have hundreds of spots on my dick is not a pleasant thought.
My questions:
Should I be scared to have sex with a girl because of this?
Are these really normal? I have seen some posts online where girls say they didn't even notice them. Do I just have a fuck ton of them? How wouldn't you notice these?
Should I tell a girl about them before she sees my dick, or do I not need to mention it?
I have been to the dermatologist and they said there's no good treatment options out there, if anyone has had their fordyce spots removed I would love to hear how.
So basically im 16 years old and I have an amazing girlfriend who I would do anything for. I basically had to quarantine from school and while quarantined i noticed a bunch of the spots on my penis and iβm 100% sure they are fordyce spots and not and STIβs or anything bc iβm still a virgin. For weeks iβve been trying things to get rid of these spots bc iβm worried that if anything happens between me and my girlfriend she will notice them and practically leave me bc of them. although sheβs a great person i donβt know what sheβll say when time comes and whether or not sheβll notice them. iβve been struggling with these for about a month now and really would like advice/help on how to get rid of these or just cope
Has anyone ever had there fordyce spots removed successfully with any treatment im open to anything to do with an actual doctor/dermatologist. And Iβve also seen that with some treatments they can come back so I was wondering if they came back could I keep getting these treatments every time they came back or could I only do it once. Thanks
I've had Fordyce spot's for as long as I could remember, I've had a doctor look at them to confirm it.
I'm not a virgin and the first girl I slept with wasn't really that bothered about them.
But I've been dating someone for a little over a week now and I've never been more happy with someone in my life. I genuinely care about this person a lot and I want to be able to explain my situation to them in the best way possible.
I'm starting to feel really self-conscious about them and I'm not sure what to do. :(
I Made it guys. I found a way to treat Fordyce Spots on my dick.
How it works:
Take a daily steambath for your dick (10-15 min) every day till the spots are less visible. Im doing this for a week and the spots Are Almost gone (excerpt a few big spots). The only things you need is cooking water, a towl and a pot. Put your dick into the pot (dont touch the hot water its painful) and then the towl over your dick to keep the steam in. The sebum will go out of Your spots. Its the same way how you treat acne for example. Give it a try!
Iβm trying to raise awareness for Fordyce spots - theyβre just like any other skin condition (like acne). They are sebaceous glands with no pore for sebum to escape, and can occur on the lips, under the eyes, or most noticeably in the genitalia. However, they often go untreated by dermatologists due to the minimal immediate health risk they pose. There is unfortunately a stigma toward seeking/receiving cosmetic treatment for these spots.
However, this is an issue - they are very physically disfiguring for some and cause serious anxiety regarding intimacy, which is becoming quite a serious issue. I imagine this is particularly the case for gay men, as they deal with penises and only penises.
Have you dealt with these spots in the past or ever seen them on a partner? Please share your experiences!
I would love to raise awareness so treatment may become more accessible for men across the world - but Iβm also interested in how many people have dealt with them/how they feel about them.
I have them for like a year now, am Iβm very sure that they are actually fordyce spots because i tried matching them with every STD and none of them do. (Im currently about 15 years old, male, and have them on the bottom part of my shaft and testicles). Most of them are quite small, some a bit bigger. Im feeling insecure about them because they look dodgy and im worried future partners will be disgusted and turn me down or have objections. Any idea if girls/women do mind? And will they go away on their own? Thanks in advance
Iβm using the lowest dose of tret, 0.025%, only 2x per week
Learnt to deal with them - once you tell your partner what they are and ensure them its perfectly healthy they will be ok with that. However i would like to know how common they are? I've been told 80% of men have them but i dont believe it.
Guys i have fordyce spots on my lips and have been reading about people who got it healed through coconut oil. I need to understand what kind of coconut oil? is it like a liquid drops? or is it any coconut oil? thanks
My labia are covered in visible fordyce spots. I only see post here for men but I figured I would give it a shot. Iβve been embarrassed about this for my entire life.
Any tips for getting rid of lots of fordyce spots on labia?
Any info would be greatly appreciated :)
Iβve found a clinic in my area who offer treatment for fordyce spots by laser, but it is quite expensive and I wanted to see what othersβ experiences were before I go any further.
Cheers!
If you have success finding a clinic, be sure to share your story here.
I think that is what they are according to google, and this is on the penis.
Hey all! Since I was a teenager (35 now), I have had Fordyce spots on my lips. I've seen doctors and done my own research, but have been told there's nothing I can do about them. Exfoliating has not helped, nor does cutting back on moisturizing.
I really wish I could try BHA or BCA on them, but using chemicals that strong on such thin skin would be dumb. Is there a mild product or treatment that may help reduce these spots?
Hello I am new to this subreddit, I am 19, I have a few things going on with my penis
*i do plan on seeing a doctor just wanted to see what reddit has to say
-penile fordyce spots (still a virgin so not stds). I have like spots all around my shaft and scrotum, it looks to be fordyce spots, does anyone know how to get rid of them or had experience with them?
-curvature in my shaft. My shaft curves relatively significantly down, I believe this is due to constantly tucking my penis as well as doing a weird masturbation technique (lol) when I was like 13. I dont have any ED or pain so I dont think its Peyronieβs disease. Does anyone know how to possibly fix this curvature? Ive tried pushing the shaft upwards the opposite direction of the curve but i dont see any results and its hard to stay consistent with that.
Any help is appreciated, thank you
Oily spots on shaft since a child. Any natural cure?
