A list of puns related to "Forced Labour"
Itβs still socially acceptable to wear brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. Even though these brands and/or their parent companies have been shown to not care about slave or forced labour theyβre still considered fashionable. We abolished slavery in the west but we support it in developing countries. βToday, 167 countries still have slavery, affecting about 46 million people.β (https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countries-that-still-have-slavery)
Brands exist that make their clothes using labour forces that are fairly paid, and have the same rights as us. If you have enough money to buy clothes made in the west, but instead buy expensive fashion brands like LV and gucci, you care more about what vapid people think about the way you look than about the rights of people in developing countries. You are akin to people who didnβt oppose abolishing domestic slavery.
Look into the brands of clothes you wear. If your clothes have a tag saying made in China, India, Bangladesh etc, you are likely wearing clothes made by slaves. Itβs abhorrent.
You have the means to change the world.

If you were forced to choose, which of these would you prefer?
A Labour government led by Keir Starmer: 42% A Conservative government led by Boris Johnson: 36% via @OpiniumResearch, 24-26 Nov

evidence of greens squishyness?
Which one is better? Let's say you invade Romania, annex it and use forced labor for their oil, will you get more oil out of it over puppeting them instead and trading one civ for their oil?
