I really want to try my hand at drag but as a women. I'm super scared it will be frowned upon. I'm not trying to step on any toes here. I have a very over the top personality and I constantly feel that I have to hide myself in the real world to fit societies norms so I want to be able to go out and do the thing I love best being myself, an loud over the top entertainer who makes people laugh. I just wanna test the waters. What is the general mindset on cis girls that do lady drag? Is the drag community generally accepting of it or is it on the more controversial side?

Hyper Queen // Bio Queen // Femme Queen // Faux Queen // Lady Queen

There is so much onus on labelling people in every niche- I personally just want to be seen as a "Drag Queen" because I feel Hyper/Bio/Faux/Etc simply separates me from the rest and identifies me as "other". I particularly dislike use of the term "Faux Queen" because I am not faux!

What have been your experiences with being labelled as an AFAB Drag Queen. Are there terms you like/dislike?
