I Just want to take this time to express my thanks to train. I won $200 on the giveaway. Ive seen so much hate about people not getting any or people not getting enough. Why cant people just be thankful? This man literally bought me groceries this week right after getting laid off from work.

[Polar Express] Not really a theory as this may be the films intent but more so a question about the train
How come when the main character tries to go to the back cart it looks extremely dangerous . He would have to hop over to Th other side on a speeding train and risk getting killed . However when the conductor and girl go back there it seems theyβre able to go to the back cart with no issues ? Iβm assuming thereβs a magic walkway for them which is removed when the main character tries to go back there ?

Real Hogwarts express train ride
Dear follow potterheads,
I am relatively new to Reddit and just joined this subreddit after it popped up at a Google search.
I do need some help and maybe you guys, especially those of you from UK might know what I'm talking about.
First off: not native, please excuse some mistakes.
This year, my so and I will be having a trip to Scotland. As a Potterhead, I would like to take the train from London to Scotland.
Some while back I saw a video on facebook: you take the train from Kings Cross to some place in Scotland, the train looks like the Hogwarts express from outside and the first class is decorated like the actual waggons in the movies as if you really are on the Hogwarts Express. This trip is scheduled from April to October only.
As of now I wasn't able to finde that specific train ride, only some that are similar.
Does that train ride dorm the video exist? How can I book it? Can somebody Help me and know what I am talking about?

Locals and express trains on the same track
Any advice for running local passenger trains and express passenger trains on the same track segments? I've done it before in the past without doing anything particularly special (my usual station setup automatically means that express trains can pass local trains while the locals are stopped at intermediate stations), and it works okay, but I'm curious if anyone has any good advice about this kind of thing.
A few problems it'd be nice to solve:
- Express trains getting caught behind slower local trains until the local train stops at a local station
- Cargodest routing all passengers on just whichever train if the first two stops from an end of a line are both express stops
- Suddenly having way too many local trains when the express option first comes online
I can pretty much live with things as they are right now, but if they can be better it'd be nice.
