The bodies of three Americans are taken for burial after the Battle of Eniwetok, Marshall Islands; 17-Feb until 23-Feb 1944. The battle was fought by the 22nd Marine Regiment and the 106th Army Regiment to seize an airfield and harbor for future attacks on Tinian, Guam, and Saipan in the Marianas.
