MP is fairly heavily moderated, so the drama doesn't get quite as juicy but you certainly get to enjoy many hot takes.

I'm heartbroken and tired of putting up a fake "I'm okay" front. They didn't deserve what happened and I still can't believe I'll never see them again. I just need someone to tell me they're in a better place and happier.
This is another from Goethe's WestΓΆstlicher Divan, and yes, I am posting it with the events of this week in mind. The whole book is an adaptation of the Iranian poet Hafiz' work that explicitly rejects the bigotry of Western Europe that Goethe saw towards the end of his life. As Thomas Mann said of Goethe "one may well say that such cool and sovereign criticism of things German has never come from a more German spirit, that there has never been a more German anti-Barbarism."
