Basically the title. I have an upcoming project about galvanoplasty and I'm very confused as to the difference between the processes, and Wikipedia is not being helpful at all. What am I missing?
I’ve always wanted to collect Roman and Greek coins, but as an archaeologist and classicist, I have some ethical concerns about buying authentic ones—not to mention how that could destroy my wallet lol. I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable source for good replica Roman coins? Someone mentioned in the comments of another post that some museums sell electrotypes, and that sounded like a potential source. Any thoughts? (PS I’m not judging anyone here who collects authentic coins. It’s just something that I personally feel like I shouldn’t contribute to.)

Switch Couture Electrotype 87 TKL - $190
Bifrost Radiant colorway, a beautiful iridescent color that is a translucent green rainbow and really pops. It is USB-C. Switches are 67g C3 Dark Tangerine linear switches, lubed and filmed. Stabs are lubed and clipped Cream C3 screw-in stabilizers, with one Durock screw-in lubed and clipped one on the right shift key. Board comes with H87A solder PCB from 1upkeyboards, with under glow RGB. Comes with clear and carbon black PBT keycaps (both cherry profile).
Note: there is a cracked corner which occurred before my ownership. You can see it in the photos, and replacement acrylic can be sourced from Switch Couture if it bothers you. I never minded it. The price reflects the flaws on the board, please check pictures.

SOLD - Switch Couture Alice
This was purchased second hand in its current state and built once with a hotswap pcb. The previous owner glued layers together for some reason so the top and bottom half are friction fit against the stand offs from the top half. Fit is not loose and doesn't not affect the structural integrity when I tested it, but not ideal for most. Top layer was painted in matte black and matte clear coated. Bottom layer is frosted clear for an underglow pcb.

- Brutal 60 HHKB - Technically b stock, has seen very little use (intro board to hhkb layout for me). you can see small marks here, and here (underside). Not noticeable at all while on the desk. It includes its case, with the O-rings already installed on the plate. Did not come with polyfill, but I can throw in some foam if you'd like. Asking for 225 + shipping.
- ElectroType 60 HHKB - Brand new, still has the protective stickers on the acrylic layers (can be seen here) It includes frosted pc hardware (to match the case) and matching feet for the case.
