A list of puns related to "Eimsbüttel"
Edit: ach lol, ist schon ´ne Woche her... D:
My grandfather fled Hamburg in 1933-ish.
The boys in this photo were born in 1922 and 1925, if that helps narrow down the year (the photo is undated).
The man in the address likely to my great-grandfather was at Pestalozzistraße 4A. His parents (the boys grandparents) were at Blücherstaße 15 per the address book in 1928, for reference.
I am fairly confident that at least the older boy is wearing a school uniform, based off the history of the style at the time. The younger boys looks convincing, but I can't say with confidence because I'm not confident on is age, haha.
I appreciate any help or leads you may have :) -- I know its a long shot, but I thought I'd ask.
I am moving to Germany this summer, and while I don't have a flat yet, I can stay at a friends place for the first few months. Actually, I could live either with a friend in Schöneberg in Berlin, or with a friend in Eimsbüttel in Hamburg. I'm selfemployed and work from home, so I have the freedom to choose.
I visited Berlin a couple of times and I really liked the neighborhood my friend lives in, and the city in general appeals to me very much (but maybe Hamburg would do as much). I enjoyed getting around by bike and all the people seemed so relaxed in Schöneberg. My friend also tells me rents in Hamburg are like more than twice as much. I have never been in Hamburg, but my friend there tells me Eimsbüttel is the best place in the world to live. I really don't know. I feel that one move will be challenging enough, so I want to get it right the first time.
Anyone here who knows both places? How are they different? And what would you choose and why? Thanks so much!

Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies 😂
It really does, I swear!
