A list of puns related to "Edict Of Roussillon"
Any actual reason behind this or just EA appealing to the masses?
This is just a friendly recommendation and it is just my opinion. Iβm running a Bundesliga/PL hybrid team and Iβve been playing Roussillon at LB for a while and wasnβt very happy with him so I gave Schulz a go. Schulz feels much quicker, stronger and is better at bullying the opponent off the ball. Roussillon just felt too slow and was beaten by most wingers. Go for Schulz if youβre in doubt :)
Anybody wanna do the 15 low drivens on ps4 real quick?
Edit:I already completed it
A Thousand Sons heavily implies/outright says that the Emperor disliked having to hold the Council, that he did not want to and Magnus states that his father has been forced to this by his siblings. The majority of the legions didnβt rail that strongly against the Librarius, many were neutral and a fair few even advocated for it. I can only imagine Morty and Angron outright badgering the Emp over disbanding it, Russ states he didnβt mind the Librarius but hated how the thousand sons used it, Perty and Dorn may have asked for its dismissal if consulted but still.
Why destroy the Librarius, not censure the Sons and Magnus as they did with the worse crimes of the Word Bearers? Were Magnus and Ahriman simply employing wishful thinking, hoping their Lord was secretly sympathetic? Was it part of Empyβs long game to actually provoke the inevitable Heresy? Were Morty and his cohorts really that persuasive?
Fucking Sliske killing mah game.
So...something that puzzles me is this: while I welcome defiance not just dunking Chacha anymore (<3), something that puzzles me is this:
Why the phoque is royal decree as brutally efficient at hitting the units designed for checking unitless control? Namely, things like Jotun Feastcaller and Icaria? And if that wasn't enough, well, Edict of Shavka is the biggest "F U" ever to control-hosing units, such as CoCu, Icaria, and JFC.
Instead, the card that gets hit is vanquish, which was used much more frequently by justice aggro decks, that haven't really had a good showing since, well, the beginning of set 5?
As Erik said:
"Before, the meta was Ixtun, yetis, and Jennev, with Ixtun slightly favored over Jennev. Now, Jennev is favored over Ixtun."
And I think that royal decree hitting units that cost 5+ is kind of a big contributor here.
I see the intention DWD had, but as usual, with the balance changes, while the intention might be good, the execution, as usual, leaves something to be desired.
I would be highly surprised if any justice 2-faction deck had a strong representation in throne past this point. Rakano getting vanquish nerfed hurts, AP hasn't been good in forever, Combrei hasn't had any real oomph since Sword of Unity, and Hooru got meteored back down to earth between privilege and palace nerfs.
Oh, and maiden buff?
Torch: new meta, who dis?
I scored 8 in 2 games after messaging my opponent but only one counted. What am I doing wrong?
Context: This is Russ' final meeting with those who remain on Terra before the Siege, after this he leaves to return to Fenris to gleam answers from the warp on how to defeat Horus.
'I cannot say, my lord,' said Valdor. 'I apologise.'
'Then at least let me know if you are winning.'
Valdor stared up at him in silence.
'Fine then.' Russ shrugged mightily. 'I do not care. We both go I where the Emperor wills.'
'And him, is he what the Emperor wills?' asked Valdor.
'Are you talking about Kva here?' said Russ.
'You know I am.' Valdor eyed Kva's fetish-draped armour.
'Are you calling me a hypocrite too, Valdor?' Russ loomed dangerously. 'I've had enough of that from Dorn.'
'I would not live if I did,' said Valdor. His stony face did not so I much as twitch. 'I am simply pointing out an inconsistency in your I application of the Nikaean Edict. You were one of its most vocal I supporters. Sorcery, I believe you called it. Can you not see that I arrogance brought Horus down, and hubris Magnus? You exhibit both, my lord.'
'Careful,' rumbled Russ.
Kva spoke up in his own defence.
'Captain-general. We are at war with the Emperor's favoured son.'
'He has boltguns, we have boltguns. He has void ships. We have void ships. We have Titans and cybernetica legions, fighter craft and Legiones Astartes. So does he. We have everything he has, and he has everything we have, apart from one weapon. A deadly weapon.' Kva tapped Valdor's engraved nameplate with the head of his staff. Bone trinkets jangled. 'Horus has magic. Real magic, drawn from the corrupt wellsprings of the Underverse. He has drunk deeply from black waters, its powers flow through his veins. We have the Emperor, but He is occupied. You did say this, did you not?' said Kva. 'He cannot be everywhere, as powerful and all-knowing as the Allfather is. Otherwise, why would He need His sons? Why would He need you?'
'Some would say you are a witch,' said Valdor.
'By that definition, so is Malcador, so is the Allfather. So are all those gifted men and women you use in this war against the foe. They are all witches, but you do not fear them. You use them. They are not the only ones to draw upon the powers of the Underverse without malice.'
'The Emperor vouchsafes the purity of their gifts. They are watched. You are not.'
Kva laughed. 'There is no purity in this power. All of it is touched by corruption. But a man's heart, or a world's, that can be pure. We Rune Priests know when to stop. Our gifts are form
... keep reading on reddit β‘Scenario: I'm holding Edict of Shavka in hand. My opponent has a Daring Gryffyn as well as a 3/1 ice elemental on the board. If I cast the Edict, will the Daring Gryffyn be sacrificed even though it can't negate the Edict?
My initial inclination would be yes, but I wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to make the play in a ranked game without knowing. I wanted a two for one by casting the Edict targeting the elemental since it was the only target for the Gryffyn weapon, but settled for attacking into the Gryffyn then taking out the elemental with Edict. I was way ahead, so I felt sure I could win down a unit, but it could have made a big difference in a closer match.
Maxim Seven refers to strange beliefs and a correct doctrine. The Qing would also introduce public schools for the Confucian education of the young. Could this have turned into a general dissolution of other religions and philosophy and the creation of a unified and all encompassing Confucian orthodoxy?
I played one game of online friendlies, a swaps game to fulfil the daily objective and try to get some low driven goals, as you need 15 in friendlies for Futmas Roussillon. My opponent and I gave each other goals, I scored exactly ten low drivens. Score was 15-13 to him, I scored three times with a swapped player.
Lo and behold, I went to the menu's and it says I've scored 13 low drivens instead of 10. It counted the three with the swapped player double. Might be worth it to try before EA patches it.
