A list of puns related to "Dual Degree"
As the title implies, I'm interested in taking up a new college degree (or two). I already graduated last 2020 and am looking for something else to do since my first degree is something that I'm not a huge fan of.
I'm currently looking up schools for requirements on how to take a second degree or a dual-degree program. I found that DLSU has both but is kinda strict on it. For those that want to enroll for a second degree, the student must have had no failures and a GPA of 2.5 and above and the same goes for MAPUA.
I really want to take up a new degree but with these requirements, it seems like I can't (coz obviously, I have failed subjects). How should I go about this?
I have a BITSAT 2021 score of 217 and have applied for the spot iteration. How likely am I to get a dual degree course? Also i am currently enrolled at IPU delhi CS, is a dual degree worth it if my main aim is machine learning research.
That is what the website says, but my real question is if it is 14 CUs or just 14 courses, like would Chem 053 and 054 count as 2 courses or 1 towards the requirement if they are both 0.5 CU labs?
I just applied to a three year program. I was looking into doing a dual Masters but I canβt find anything on if itβs allowed or how that would work. Does anybody have any insight on that?
Maybe this is a dumb question but I canβt seem to find this information anywhere and I want to know before I order a diploma frame.
Has anyone got news regarding the dual degree nursing program at UR? The website says rejection letter come out early January, do finalist letter come out the same time as well?

Hi! I am a high school senior applying to Northwestern for their dual degree program (Weinberg and Bienen).
I was just wondering, could they accept me through only one of the schools? For example, could they only accept me for Weinberg college? Or if I don't qualify for one, will they reject me entirely? I hope this makes sense - I am willing to clarify if needed.
Thanks!
Hi guys, I'm going to be joining Yale this year and I was wondering how dual majors for engineering worked.
Is it possible for someone to take another major alongside and ABET accredited degree eg: Electrical Engineering and Economics?
I got Msc Physics in first special iteration, i have some questions is there anyone i can DM?
Not seriously considering this option, but I saw that Nova offers a 6 year D.M.D./D.O. dual degree program. Do you think a dual degree like this be useful for matching OMFS? I can't find a ton of info on it or where their graduates are employed.
A little background, I am currently in ROTC and will graduate next December, but commission into the Reserve or Guard that following May (or August depending if I go to Advanced Camp this summer). Therefore I plan to start my MPA that Spring and then take a semester or two off to finish BOLC, to which I plan to apply for law school for Fall 2024 and complete my MPA alongside it.
So I was researching tuition assistance for post-bachelorβs and read that Army Reserve/National Guard offers up to 39 credit hours covered up to $250, except for a Juris Doctorβs degree. Iβm wondering if I can still get tuition assistance for my MPA if Iβm taking it alongside a JD.
I want to switch my major to English but Iβve taken so many business classes, so best case Iβd like to double major. Not sure if itβs allowed though.
I got Msc. biology in round 8. because classes had started about 7/8 weeks prior I was worried about getting a good cgpa and branch later.
while i was informed there would be remedial classes to catch up my worry wasn't eased even tho the slightest.
i was worried about not getting CSE and then having to study Bio+ non CSE branch + doing computer courses which would make my college year hectic.
while it felt (and still feels) like the right decision I feel bad somewhere deep down..
Any suggestions on how to deal with this

I was wondering if I should opt for a 2nd degree, I'm mainly interested in research but still want to have it as a Plan B.
I heard that 3rd and 4th years are stressful for dualites? Is this true? I'm very bad at managing stress, especially academic related stress, but I will also be getting another degree.
What are your thoughts?
I want to do Economics and Psychology in uni but I don't like the idea of pursuing any of them as a minor course. So I've landed on either having a dual degree where I would get 2 different degrees ,one for each area of study or a double major, where I basically do both and get just one degree.
I guess the issue I have right now is that it don't understand the details of both options. Anyone ever done one of these before? Or maybe there are some nice resources I could use to understand these options.
(I'm not fully closed to the idea doing one of the subjects as a minor course but I just want to understand what options I have available before I finally decide.)
(Sorry if there are any typos )
Given that classes are starting Wednesday, I hope they send results soon just in case people get accepted and need to adjust their schedules drastically to accommodate for that.

Do you think it is better to choose MSC Dual Degree in BITS, or choose CS/ISE in RV,PES,Ramaiah? I am interested in doing CS, and hope to get CS/electronics in BITS, via the dual degree. BITS is clearly the superior college, but is it worth risking CS in the aforementioned B'lore colleges. One more thing is the that the B.E degree is allotted according to the first year CGPA, and BITS classes have already begun a month ago, and I haven't gotten my seat yet, which will kinda affect my studies, since I'll be lagging by more than a month.
Hello all! I need some opinions about my career choice. Iβm currently in undergrad, my major is Spanish and International Health with a minor in Enviormental Science and Policy. Iβve always wanted a job in healthcare since I was a child. I decided on Physican Assistant in my junior year of high school. But I also have a passion for politics, it always been a passion of mine. My plan after undergrad was to do a dual degre MPH/PA program! I wanted to know if it sounded more applicable to do a few years as a physican assistant and then fully dive in policy analysis or if I can do both around the same time or if I should just settle on one. And if the program is even worth it. Thoughts? Thank you!
Title. Taking up a dual degree and finished one minor (EU Intl studies). I know I can add one more minor BUT I'm not sure if both will reflect in my diploma. The 2nd one I'm planning's American international studies. Considering all the people I asked on this were taking up a single degree, they told me they were asked to pick one only that would reflect in their diploma.
However, how does the rule go for double degree students who want to take dual minors?
did anyone here apply to any msw/mph dual degree programs? have you heard back yet?
Does anyone know how strict Notre Dame is with the course prerequisites in accounting and statistics? I took financial accounting and management accounting at a small local school that I believe only has southern accreditation. Iβm considering squeezing into a statistics class to meet the requirement before May 1. Thoughts on this? Any suggestions for where I can sign up for last minute Financial Account and Stastics classes to be finished by May 1? Does the May 1 deadline mean that I am not eligible for R2 yet?
Considering applying to a JD/MBA program at a law school Iβve already been admitted to for JD. If I get admitted to the MBA program as well, am I bound to complete the dual degree, or can I defer to the original JD-only program?
Hey guys, happy holidays :)
Question: I'm currently applying to NYU for computer science and/or computer engineering. I'm very interested in their Computer Science and Engineering dual degree (3+2) but I also want to be considered for Computer Science (Tandon) and Computer Engineering (Tandon). If I indicated I want to be considered for all three programs, what "primary college/school" should I apply to? Tandon or College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)? *Bit of context: the dual degree (3+2) is listed as CAS, not Tandon... Summary: I got two degrees (listed as alternative majors under CommonApp) for Tandon, and my main interest dual degree in CAS, which school should I list on the CommonApp?
Thanks in advance :D
Does anyone know of any good Dual-Degree programs? I am very interested in ones for Poli Sci or International Realations. So far I have looked into:
Columbia - Sciences Po
Moscow State - Marbella U
Thats it! I can't find any good ones! Let me know if you know of any international ones especially because most dual degrees are for masters not undergrad!
So I've been intrigued by the dual degree programs that some law schools offer in partnership with other grad schools in their institution. I can see myself pursuing a JD/MPP or something similar
However, I don't really see a lot of discussion on here about attempting dual degree programs. I also don't really see a lost of discussion on apply to grad school for something that isn't law school on other subreddits.
Is there a site like LSdata or LSN, but for non law grad programs?
Is getting into a non law program easier or harder than getting into law school at the same institution? (Not stem or medical related) For example, if I'm at the median for UChicago law, would I also be at the median for their MPP program?
Hello, I am PAC, a year 12 international student who got into UQ for a dual bachelor degree. I want to work in Brain-Computer Interface but donβt really know what path is the best. Iβm enrolling at UQ in 2022 for B.E electrical engineering with a biomedical engineering spe and a B.Sci with a compSci major. I would like to know if any of you had a previous experience in this field and if you may have any advice for me ? Wishing you all the best, PAC
I'm currently a first year student in Bio-Medical Sciences. I am thoroughly enjoying the program and this is not me resigning from the course, but only expanding my knowledge and education.
I was wondering if it would be possible to enroll in a second major degree in Computer Science while completing my Bio-Medical Sciences Major. I have never heard of it being done, but would definitely feel as if it could be beneficial. Originally my plans were to minor in computer science while finishing, but after talking to my counsellor, it was settled that I did not have enough electives to do so and would end up taking an extra year.
So instead of taking an extra year to complete a minor, why would I not do the same in getting the same knowledge while completing a major and getting a higher degree. The major does not necessarily have to even be at Guelph as I've heard that you can do asynchronous learning for the entire undergraduate at numerous universities. What I am wondering is if I will be allowed through OUAC or Guelph to be recognized as being enrolled at more than one institutions.
Iβm a US student whoβs thinking about what degree I want to get. I was thinking about doing but i donβt really know how it works. Is it a large workload? Do I declare both majors at the same time? Could I do two unrelated majors, like a BA and an engineering degree? (If I do two related majors itβs be a double major, right?) Do colleges/universities even offer programs like that?
Can I even do all that as a freshman?!
Thank you in advance! And sorry for all the questions, Iβm just stressed. The school I go to calls itself a college prep school but i donβt feel prepared at all and I know absolutely nothing.
In May I will graduate from a top engineering school with 2 BSE degrees in environmental engineering and engineering physics. I'm not completely against focusing on one field, but ideally I could find an entry level job relating to both of my interests. Right now I'm mostly considering Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology/flood routing, and Nuclear decommissioning/remediation. Please suggest other ideas for careers I can explore, even if they don't completely relate to both fields. Thanks!
If I'm applying to a dual degree between a college and its own or an affiliated music school, should I mention that in the school's "why us" essay (or specifically, Johns Hopkins's weird version of it)?
I couldn't find this info on their website -- If I apply to NWU for their dual degree program, do the AO's have a choice to accept me through just one of the colleges I choose? Thank you in advance!
hi! i am a prospective student and had two questions:
how difficult would it be to take on a major at wharton as a CAS student? i know the dual degree program requires application and is competitive, and i wonder if itβs manageable to do this (ex econ at CAS and marketing at wharton) and what things they may look for in that application?
is it possible to minor across schools? (ex minor in data science through SEAS as a CAS student) or is there some other way to get a data science minor? iβm having trouble finding information about this online!
thank you so much in advance!
edit: found this link and this one about question #1 but i would love to hear a community perspective
im currently a hs junior looking at various accelerated pre physician assistant programs. how competitive is the program and what attracted you to it (ex: cost, more lax course requirements, etc.) as opposed to other universities? what is the general experience like for these programs?
