I've consulted several online guides, I've spent a decent amount of time in the game trying to figure this out, I'm not posting this five seconds into this quest.. Okay so I've just started playing breath of the Wild and I'm trying to get the warm doublet. I have found the shack of the old man south of the Temple of Time. I have all of the required ingredients, I have made the necessary dish, but I have absolutely no fucking clue how to show him this dish to retrieve the doublet from him. Any time i try to talk to him my only options are "what are you doing" and "bye." I've read several guides and the most specific thing i can find just says to wait at the dude's shack at dark for him to come home, but I guess that's just if you don't know where to look for him. Please help this is driving me insane!!!!
After seeing many playthroughs on Breath of the Wild on youtube, I was wondering how people got their warm doublet.
I just bought the Womenโs Doublet pattern from Margoโs Patterns, but the size options donโt quite work for me. My bust is roughly size 10, my waist is sized for 16, and my shoulders are around size 22. I looked in the techniques manual, but I couldnโt find anything about modifying patterns to specifically fit your dimensions.
Does anyone have experience with this? I could use the Elizabethan costuming website to generate a custom bodice pattern, but honestly I want to use the Margoโs pattern because I spent a little bit of money on it ๐

Trying to understand some NMR basics, and can't find an answer online about this. Also, when I run 31P-NMR of a compound containing a P-F bond, it gets split into a doublet. This is simply due to the instrument not performing 'decoupling', as we usually do for carbon NMR, correct?

So, I want my arming doublet to be functional and have a good historical silhouette. I've been planning on dieting and exercising to get rid of my gut but apparently I like food more than a flat stomach.
I want to order a high end arming doublet to finally take measurements for the rest of my plate but I'm wondering if it's worth it or if I'll be dropping several grand on something that wont function properly or look good. My gut isn't "hard" fat and can comfortably compress to a certain point and I'm also wondering if I could get away with ordering it smaller than my actual measurements and would it be comfortable or functional if it's compressing my fat. Does anybody have any experience with arming doublets and plate armor with a bit of a gut?
My hips are about 37-38 inches and my waist is around 33-34 inches, it can comfortably compress to about 31 inches, my chest is about 36-37 inches. So my waist is still my smallest measuring point on my torso, but my gut protrudes a bit. Will this have a significant negative effect on the functionality and comfort of my plate, and if I do get it a bit smaller and finally cut down some stomach fat will it stay functional?
Hello redditors of Jewelrymaking, first time poster here.
I recently started jewellery making, and I hit a pickle while trying to bezel opal doublets in silver. The layer of opal is paper thin on top of the matrix, and I am finding it very challenging to close the bezel without chipping the doublet.
I do not have this issue with thicker doublets or full stones, jus the super-thin type (quite common in Australia for quality play of colours)
I have tried with 0.5 and 0.3mm thick fine silver walls, to no avail.
Do you have any advice that could help me? Thanks in advance.
This gem is not giving me speed from my equipped Shadowlands gems anymore. It previously was working. Has anyone had issues with it? Are they supposed to only work in Shadowlands zones?

Hi,
This is more of a focussed domain question from Single-cell RNA-seq domain. We all know (those of us who work in single cell RNA-seq) that 10x single cell RNA-seq doublet rate is 8% per 10k cells (https://jef.works/blog/2017/12/14/barcode-doublets/). Lately I have been working on integrating single cell and single nuclear RNA-seq and I have noticed that there are way too many clusters (which exclusively belong to snRNA seq that have doublets i.e gene expression features of two different celltypes e.g T-cells/Macrophages). I can't seem to find publications that talk about doublet rate in 10x single nuclear RNA-seq. I was wondering if folks here can point me in that direction? Thanks!
